Sometimes when you keep doing the same thing with the same pattern, results are limited. Have you tried praying in the midnight? You must have heard that popular song that says Holy Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty, Early in the morning our soul shall rise to thee. There has been numerous proofs to justify the fact that prayers are answered mostly in the midnight. The book of Psalm 5:3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch. Why did the Psalmist insisted that in the morning, the Lord will hear his prayers. It is because he understands that God is nearer in the cool of the morning.

Many of the successes we celebrate in the day were sealed and confirmed in the midnight. So if you have been spending all your nights for sleep, you have not been doing well. In the midnight, there is no break in communication between the early realm and the spiritual realm. Little wonder Satan and his demons strike mostly in the midnight when man is asleep. Recall that the scripture says in book of Matthew 13:25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. The time of the day we sleep is in the night. The enemy rarely strike during the day when a man is still very active, he waits until the dead of the night has arrived before he strikes. Similarly, we must be crafty like the serpent in our spiritual works too, we should not spend all the night snoring and rolling from one edge of the bed to another.

A quick recall, Jacob had an encounter with the angel of the Lord in the midnight. Meanwhile, Jacob had initially let down his guard when he slept off and didn’t realize that the spirit of God was there because he was deep asleep. However, when he got another chance, he utilized it to ensure that he had a life-changing encounter with God. For you to understand why you need to pray in the midnight, let’s quickly highlight some importance of midnight prayers.

It Helps Terminate Demonic Attack

Because most attacks of the enemy are done in the midnight, when we stay up to pray, our spiritual alertness is heightened. This reduces the success of the enemy’s attack on us. The reason why a thief will come in the night because they believe, naturally a man is weak in the night. The body calls for rest during this time. So they enemy will capitalize on the need of the body to strike a man.

It Makes Us Mature Spiritually

The spirit of God speak everytime. It is left for us to position ourselves to hear from Him. If you think midnight prayer is very easy try starting one today. It takes conscious and deliberate effort to deprive your body the rest that it needs. And most times, even while we sleep, the spirit of God wants to communion with us.

The moment we can obey the leading of the spirit when it calls for prayer in the midnight, our level of spirituality increases and this means we can obey almost anything commanded by God.

We Concentrate More

Prayer is not just an activities that can be done anyhow. It is a communication between the mortals and the immortals, between man and God. It requires some level of concentration. During the day there are so many things that would demand our attention, so concentrating in place of prayer may not be attainable.

However, midnight prayers help us concentrate more. No noise from within or around, no interference, just you and the father. The level of concentration is heightened.

It Is Essential For Life-changing Encounter

The spirit of God is always available. When we pray in the midnight, it put us at the edge of having a life-changing encounter with the father. Jacob was spiritually sensitive to have known that this man is not ordinary. He must have been meditating in his heart before the angel arrived. That was why he could identify that this is not human.

When we pray at night, we stand a better chance of having an encounter with the father.

• Lord God, I pray that every power plotting an attack on me and my family destroy them right now in the name of Jesus.
• Every demonic attack on my health, I come against you by the fire of the holy ghost. I free my Health from the bondage of darkness, holding it down in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, every plot of the enemy to destroy my marriage is destroyed by fire. I seize my family from the hands of the devil. From today you shall have no power over my family anymore in the name of Jesus.
• Lord God, I decree that the fire of the Holy Ghost destroys every destiny waster in my life. Any man or woman who has found his/her way into my life to destroy my destiny fall to death right now in the name of Jesus.
• I break down every wall of stagnation in my life. Every satanic garment of poverty placed on me and my family catch fire in the name of Jesus.
• For it has been written, no weapon fashion against me shall prosper. Every demonic arrow shot at me to kill me; I send you back to the sender in sevenfold in the name of Jesus.
• Lord God, I come my day into your able, it shall be smooth in the name of Jesus. My day shall be free from trouble in the name of Jesus. I ask that your spirit will guide and teach me which way to go in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I break every Jericho of delay and failure in my life into pieces in the name of Jesus. I pray that every hindrance on my way to success is taken away in the name of Jesus.
• Lord God, every demonic animal sent to monitor me die today in the name of Jesus. Every wicked snake, every masquerade assign to torment me in my sleep, die in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I receive the power to do great exploits at work in the name of Jesus. From today, I become unstoppable in the name of Jesus. From today, I become limitless in the name of Jesus
