Today we shall be engaging in prayer for the nation of Tanzania. At times, when articles like this finds its way to the internet, people begin to wonder why it is important for them to oblige. Christ was preaching about one church in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:12. We all might think the sermon is pertinent to the church alone, no, it is a sermon of peace, unity and love among all nations of the earth too. Whether you are from Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa or any other country, it is our collective duty be a watchman for ourselves.
WHY PRAY FOR THE NATION OF TANZANIA
If ills and abnormalities continue to flourish in a continent where there are true children of God, it doesn’t speak well of our identity as people of God. Tanzania is located in the heart of East Africa. Good to note, it is one of the most beautifully structured countries in East Africa. Also, most of the economy disaster that has affected many other African countries has spared Tanzania. The nation housed one of the popular tourists attraction sites in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, which sees millions of tourists trooping into the country on yearly basis.

Furthermore, the nation of Tanzania has experienced an undiluted domestic stability. However, it has not in anyway been able to convert those blessings into domestic prosperity. Similar to the event that happened in 2 kings 2:19 “The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.” So also is the land of Tanzania well situated, yet, her people still suffers. The country have a population of over 50 million people, and more than half of the entire population live below poverty line, what a country try! If you are still reading this, don’t you think it is high time you step into the spiritual court and say a prayer for the nation of Tanzania?
PRAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF TANZANIA
The reason most government officials are not successful is because the governed do not pray for their success. We must cultivate the habit of praying for our leaders.
Most especially as believers, we most learn how to stand in gap for our leaders. Some of them might have been held captive by sin or other unseen spiritual forces. Remember the Bible made us understand in book of Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.
Our prayers is what they need and not condemnation. Also, if the church chose to condemn the king after Apostle Peter was cast into the prison, he (Peter) would have died. But the church prayed earnestly for Peter, who at that time was one of the frontiers of the gospel.
Also, God should put the love of the citizens in the heart of government. Whoever will attain a leadership position must be divinely choosen.
PRAY FOR THE CITIZEN OF TANZANIA
This article aim at bringing to the notice of the general public and world at large of some of the abnormalities happening in some part of world. The people of Tanzania are going through a lot to put food on the table. According to reports, only one out of every five Tanzanian can access a bank after one hour walk. This shows the level of ills in the country. Proverbs 29:7 “The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it”. Though efforts are being made by international organization to alleviate the suffering of the people of Tanzania. However, our prayers as saint will also go a long way in hastening up the process. The effectual prayers of the righteous availeth much.
When you are saying a prayer for the nation of Tanzania, kindly remember millions of her people who still starve and are heavily malnourished. For they are the one who felt the heavy blow of the abnormalities more.
PRAY FOR THE ECONOMY OF TANZANIA
There is no gainsaying that the economy of Tanzania has not experienced any drastic backward shift in a while. But what is the essence of a flourishing economy that cannot feed her people, what is the essence of a stabilized economy that cannot reduce the poverty level of the people?.
The book of Isaiah 60:1 “Arise and shine for the glory of God is upon the” Let’s invite God to come take over the affairs of Tanzania economy. The light of God should bring the economy of Tanzania out of the shackles of darkness, from the snare of bondage. The economy of Tanzania must be freed from where ever it has been held hostage. It must be able to feed her people, the economy of Tanzania must be actively bouyant to reduce the poverty level of Tanzanians.
PRAY FOR THE CHURCH IN TANZANIA
Christianity is no doubt the most practised religion in Tanzania. More than 50% of Tanzanians are Christians. However, the glory of the Lord is still dim in the lives of most people in the country.
The Church of God in Tanzania must rise to birth the fire of revival that will chase poverty out of the nation of Tanzania. It is expedient that the churches in Tanzania must receive the true light of God that will reflect in their teachings. The teachings that will free the people from the mentality of slavery, bondage and poverty.
Despite being a Christian dominated country, there are still some parts of Tanzania that hasn’t received the good news of Christ yet. Especially, those in the rural areas where the teachings of Christ are mostly needed. Churches in Tanzania must rise to spread the gospel to the campestral jungle of Tanzania. Until the gospel spread across the length and breadth of the country, until every man and woman who needs to hear the gospel hears it, the church and her leaders should know no rest until the divine commandment is fulfilled in the nation of Tanzania.

12). Father, in the name of Jesus, recompense tribulation to all that trouble the peace and progress of this nation even as we pray now – 2 Thessalonians. 1:6
13). Father, in the name of Jesus, let every gang up against the continuous growth and expansion of the church of Christ in Tanzania be crushed permanently – Matthew. 21:42
14). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the wickedness of the wicked against this nation come to an end even as we pray now – Psalm. 7:9
15). Father, in the name of Jesus, vent your anger upon all the perpetrators of wanton killings in this nation, as you rain up on all them fire, brimstone and a horrible tempest, thereby granting permanent rest to the citizens of this nation – Psalm. 7:11, Psalm11:5-6
16). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the rescue of Tanzania from the powers of darkness contending against her destiny – Ephesians. 6:12
17). Father, in the name of Jesus, release your instruments of death and destruction against every agent of the devil set to destroy the glorious destiny of this nation – Psalm 7:13
18). Father, by the blood of Jesus, release your vengeance in the camp of the wicked and restore our lost glory as a nation. -Isaiah 63:4
19). Father in the name of Jesus, let every evil imagination of the wicked against this nation fall upon their own heads, resulting in the advancement of this nation – Psalm 7:9-16

44). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the fear of God saturate the length and breadth of this nation, thereby removing shame and reproach from our nations – Isaiah. 32:15-16
45). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn your hand against the adversaries of this nation, that are blocking the way forward to our economic growth and development as a nation – Psalm. 7:11,Proverbs 29:2
46). Father, in the name of Jesus, supernaturally restore the economy of this nation and let this land be filled with laughter again – Joel 2:25-26
47). Father, in the name of Jesus, bring an end to the economic woes of this nation thereby restoring her past glory – Proverbs 3:16
48). Father, in the name of Jesus, break the siege over this nation, thereby terminating our age-long political turmoils – Isaiah. 43:19
49). Father, in the name of Jesus, set this nation free from the scourge of unemployment by stirring waves of industrial revolution in the land -Psalm.144:12-15
50). Father, in the name of Jesus, raise political leaders in this nation that will usher Tanzania into a New realm of glory- Isaiah. 61:4-5

55). Father, in the name of Jesus, destroy every force militating against the growth of the church in Tanzania, thereby leading to further growth and expansion – Isaiah. 42:14
56). Father, in the name of Jesus. let the 2019 elections in Tanzania be free and fair and let it be void of election violence all through – Job 34:29
57). Father, in the name of Jesus, scatter every agenda of the devil to frustrate the electoral process in the forthcoming elections in Tanzania- Isaiah 8:9
58). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the destruction of every device of evil men to manipulate the 2019 elections in Tanzania-Job 5:12
59). Father, in the name of Jesus, let there be hitch-free operations all through 2019 electoral process, thereby ensuring peace in the land- Ezekiel. 34:25
60). Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against every form of electoral malpractices in the forthcoming elections in Tanzania, thereby averting post-election crisis – Deuteronomy. 32:4.
