Deuteronomy 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Today we shall be looking at prayer points for parents. As children of God, we need to always stand in the gap for the success and general well being of our parents. One of the major ways to show care and love to your parents is to pray for them, its to always intercede for their well being. Every time you pray for your parents, you are sowing seeds of long life and a happy life. You cant always pray for your parents and still suffer what they suffered. Regardless of their physical or spiritual condition, pray for them, regardless of whether they where good to you or not pray for them, even if your parents are witches and wizards, pray for them. If they are sick, pray for their healing, if they are poor provide for them, if they are unbelievers, pray for their salvation. No matter their situation, always pray for your parents. This prayer points for parents will help you as you dedicate your parents unto the Lord forever.

Its so unfortunate that in the world we live in today, so many believers have abandoned there parents. They dont care how they survive, these is a very risky thing to do, God expects us to Honour our parents, infact that is the only commandment with a promise. When we honour our parents, we prolong our days here on Earth. When you honour your parents, that is you take care of them physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually, you are sowing a seed of long lfe and prosperity on Earth. You cant be living very comfortable in town and your parents will be languishing in the village, you could attract a curse from your parents. This prayer points for parents will empower you to care of your parents spiritually. As you pray it over them regularly, you shall see them waxing stronger andn stronger in Jesus name.
