Spiritual fruits are the fruits of the Spirit that is produced by the Holy Spirit in Us. The fruit of the spirit are the roots of our righteousness. It takes a righteous person to produce a righteous fruits. The fruits of the Spirit are the virtues that flows from us that shows that we are children of God. Different Between Spiritual Gifts And Spiritual Fruits
Spiritual gifts are endowments of the Holy Spirit, they are given randomly by Gods election of grace. You can also desire any of the spiritual gifts of your choice. You don’t work for spiritual gifts, you just receive them by faith and grace empowers you to manifest them. The purpose of spiritual gifts is for evangelism and for the furtherance of the gospel. On the other hand Spiritual fruits are fruits of righteousness or the fruits of the grace of Christ in us. While gifts helps us be a blessing to others, fruits show that we are really Children of God. To explain this better, a christian can be manifesting the gift of the spirit and still be living in Sin. For instance someone may have the gift of prophecy and still be harbouring hate in her heart. The fruits of the spirit is relevant to us for our personal work with God. Any believer can manifest gifts, its by grace, but only mature Christians manifest the fruits of the Spirit. Do not only crave for gifts, more importantly crave for the fruits of the Spirits.
