Prayer For Peace in The Nation

Today, we will be dealing with prayer for peace in the nation.

Psa. 72:3 says, “The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness”
Psa. 29:11 says, “The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace”

According to Bible Translator, Sage Jornals, “The term, ” Peace” in the New Testament is used at least in five different ways,

• Peace as the absence of war and chaos.
• Peace as a right relationship with God or with Christ.
• Peace as a good relationship among people.
• Peace as an individual virtue or state, that is tranquility or serenity and
• Peace as part of our greetings.”

Also, by extension, as a nation we would intercede largely for Nigeria.
When there is Peace within our borders, we realize that alot of abnormal events and trends are automatically corrected and set in normal pace.

Psalm 122:6 encourages us that we pray for the peace of our nation. This is to mean that whatever happens in a country, by and large, one way or the other it’s concerns us. So we pray for the Peace of God in every state, for our leaders, calmness in their hearts and wisdom to make right decisions our of love and not anger or hatred.

We pray for the Peace of God in our borders, serenity in our states and calmness in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. It is not healthy that we place on focus on the terrible happenings in the nation but to set our gaze in prayer on the One who is able to do all things.

Furthermore, we will intercede for ourselves, our families and every area of our lives, that we come to experience the Peace of God in our walk with Him. That we extend that which we have received to others. It is not by the power of the flesh that we live in peace and harmony with our neighbor but by the Spirit of God. Our marriages z businesses, careers, workplace will receive the Peace of God like never before.

Finally, we pray that the Peace of God abides with us, in all our endeavors in Jesus name.

Prayer Points

• Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for your Faithfulness over us. Thank you for you’re faithful in all your ways to us Lord in the name of Jesus. Psa. 92:1-3 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
• Our Father we give you praise for the life you give to us, for the air we breathe, we say your name is exalted in the name of Jesus. Psa. 119:90 says, “Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth
• Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your Peace in our lives hirtherto, blessed be your name forever Lord in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord we ask for your Peace like a river in our nation, let it reign in the name of Jesus.
• We intercede for our nation Nigeria, we declare the Peace of God in every nook and cranny of the nation in Jesus mighty name. Psa. 122:6 says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee”
• Father we pray that you help the leaders to lead with Peace and Understanding as its pleasing to you in the name of Jesus.
• Father we pray that in the government sector, you help our leaders to understand and see the light of your word, by your power to lead and foster Peaace in the nation in the name of Jesus.
• Heavenly Father, we pray for the Peace of God in all the 36 states of the nation. We declare Peace and tranquility in every state, town and villages in the name of Jesus.
• We pray for discerning hearts and wise minds for our leaders. You help them to lead us rightly by your power in the name of Jesus Christ.
• In the name of Jesus, we speak the Peace of God to reign in ever chaotic borders in the nation in Jesus name.
• Father we pray that your Mercy will locate our leaders and you fill their lives with calmness to make the right decisions with wisdom in the name of Jesus.
• In the name of Jesus, we pray that the Peace of the Almighty will reign continually in our families in Jesus name.
• We pray for Peace in our marriage, let it flow like a river in Jesus name. Let husbands and wives live in peace with one another.
• Father Lord we pray in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Peace of God will reign in the lives of our children to the glory of your name in Jesus name.
• Father we pray for the Peace of God within our walls, our workplaces, businesses and careers in the name of Jesus Christ. Psa.122: 7 says, Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
• Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that every situation, crisis, challenge in our lives that does not align with God receives calmness in the mighty of Jesus Christ.
• Father Lord we pray, as individuals, we pray that the peace and calmness from above is ministered unto us in the name of Jesus Christ.
• The scripture says my peace have I given unto you not as the world do. Lord, we pray for divine peace across states and regions in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord, we pray that you will appeal to the heart of man and kings in the nation and you will propagate your peace in their hearts in the name of Jesus. 
• Father Lord we pray that you will grant us longevity of life and Peace in our body in the name of Jesus.Prov.3:2 says, “For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee”
• Father Lord we thank you because it’s a new dawn for us all, in our nation, in all states and for our leaders in Jesus name.
• Father Lord we thank you for the calmness that we shall always experience in our families, marriages, businesses, careers in the name of Jesus Christ.
