Today we will be dealing with prayer points to cancel evil dreams. One of the numerous ways God communicate with us is through dreams. Remember in the Acts of Apostle 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. God reveals things to us through our dreams. Sometimes, the spirit of God brings revelation of the enemy’s plan to us in our dreams. It is left for us to act on it to prevent those things from coming to fulfillment.
Joseph was a dreamer, God revealed to him the destiny of his life. As God reveals good things to us, so also does He reveals the plans of the enemy for our lives through dreams. When we see evil things in our dreams, it is not enough for us to sit back and be consumed for fear. It is a time for us to pray fervently to God to avert every evil plans for our lives. Some of the terrible things we see in our sleep includes:

- Sexual dream
- Eating in the dream
- Being pursued by masquerade
- Being pursued by snake
- Having severe accident in the dream
- Visiting the village
- Seeing blood in the dream
There are so many evil things that we see in the dream. Sometimes, we could be badly tormented in the dream and we lost the ability to shout out loud or cry for help. When we see some of these things in our dream, they are perfect indication of the devil’s devices to harm us. This is why we must endeavor to pray hard when we see these events in our sleep.
In the book of Mathew 18:18 “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” This is an assurance for us that we can decide what will happen and what will not happen in real life.
To overcome evil dreams, you must submit yourself to the leading of the holy spirit. Become a friend with Christ. It is, however, important to know that giving out lives to Jesus doesn’t mean that we will not be faced with tribulations. It is not an assurance that we won’t have trouble, but it is a seal that whatever trouble that comes up, Christ will be there to save us.

- Lord Jesus, I thank you for the gift of revelation that you have bestowed on me to know the plans and agenda of the enemy over my life. I thank you for not making the plans of the enemy hidden over my life, Lord, let your name be exalted in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I stand on the promise of your word as written in the book of Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD. I decree that no weapon of the enemy shall be successful over my life in the name of Jesus.
- I decree by the authority of heaven, every evil dreams of setback, stagnation and failure, I destroy you today in the name of Jesus. I come against you by the power in the name of Jesus. Every evil dream of setback over my life, I cancel your manifestation over my life in the name of Jesus.
- I stand upon the promise of God as stated in the book of Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” no evil dream shall come to pass over my in the name of Jesus.
- I cancel every idea of the enemy to drag failure into my life in the name of Jesus. The scripture says, for we have not been given the spirit of fear but of sonship to cry Ahba Father. I cancel the spirit of fear in me today in the name of Jesus.
- I stand on the promise of word as stated in the book of Isaiah 28:18 KJV, ”And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.” Death is cancelled over my life in the name of Jesus. Every covenant of death hovering round me, I cancel you today in the name of Jesus.
- Lord God, every covenant of failure in my life, I destroy you today in the name of Jesus. For it has been written that Christ has bare upon himself all our infirmities and he has healed all our diseases. Every form of illness or disease is healed in the name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, every ancestral power in my lineage working against my life through evil dream, lose your power over me in the name of Jesus. From today, I decree that you lose your power in the name of Jesus.
- I order the fire of the Holy ghost to go into the camp of my enemies and every demonic agent fighting my life with evil dreams. Let the fire of the holy ghost begin to consume them this moment in the name of Jesus.
- As it has been written in the book of Psalm 91:13, Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. I receive power to tread upon serpent in the name of Jesus. From today, I receive power to become unstoppable in the name of Jesus.
- I pray that the power of the holy spirit strengthens me against every demonic battle in my sleep in the name of Jesus.
