Today we will be dealing with 15 Prayer Points For Family. The dictionary define the family as father, mother and their children. It was mentioned many times in the bible that man and woman shall become one and be fruitful. It is God commandment for His creations. The Bible says in Gen 2 vs 24, For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. The father is the head of the family and the bible mentioned that a woman must be submissive to her husband, Ephesians 5 vs 22 to 33; Wives, be submissive to your own husbands as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head and Savior of the church, which is His body. But as the church submits to Christ, so also let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Also the husband as the head of the home is expected to treat his family with respect. 1st Timothy 3 vs 4 to 5; He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?. God loves peace and He believes righteousness starts from the home.

A healthy family will produce children that will manifest the glory of the Lord out there. That’s why these 15 prayer points for family is important. A family that is deeply rooted in prayer will be protected from evil and will be led by the directions and under the guidance of God.

Important Reasons Why Praying For The Family is Important

1. It brings togetherness, each family member will feel free to talk about what’s bothering them instead of seeking misleading advises from strangers, it brings a level of trust amongst family members which makes the bond they share strong.
2. It brings Unity. Amos chapter 3:3 Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?.When we pray together it helps us to resolve conflicts and misunderstandings using the word of God as references.
3. It makes each family member trust each other and they see themselves as a source of strength.
4. Praying for the family brings protection. When we pray we ask God to protect us and keep us from evil eyes.
5. It prepares the family for what is ahead of the future. Regardless of the circumstances they always know to trust God and rely on God completely, it teaches them values and help them to resist evil and temptations.

Basically, the importance of praying for the family can not be overemphasized as we mentioned earlier. Prayer is the key to a happy life in every home. Prayer is an essential part of our journey with God, it is our way of connecting and communication with God.

• Thank You Lord Jesus for this beautiful day and for giving us the opportunity to know you and to come to understand the power of your love for us as individuals.
• Thank you for teaching us how to pray and knowing you. Thank you for teaching us the importance of staying together as a family.
• Lord we ask for forgiveness that you teach us to forgive each other as you said in your word. Mathew 6 vs 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,but deliver us from the evil one.

• Children are easily influenced by evil peer pressure, protect our children from bad people and evil eyes. Do not lead them into temptations, help them to be a good influence to other unbelievers around them and help them win souls for you.
• The goal of everyone on earth is to be fruitful, help our family to be fruitful and make positive impacts to everyone we come in contact with.
• We cover ourselves from the evil eyes of the bad people, we cover our family with the blood of Jesus.
• The devil and his cohorts will have no power whatsoever on our family, no wiles or power of the devil shall stand against the family.
• The presence of God will forever be with us. Grant is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that will help us find our ways in the righteous path in this evil world.
• Help us to have faith in you always regardless of whatever we are going through. In the face of trials, help us to stand firm
• Our going in and coming in, Lord Jesus protect us. Protect us from evil arrows and evil arrows eyes. Psalm 91
• We ask for your protection Lord Jesus, do not allow us fall prey of the evil ones, protect our going out and coming in. Guide our paths and do not let any evil come our way.
• Protect the head of the family as he is the breadwinner of the family, protect him from strange women that might want to mislead him, protect our mother, give her the strength to raise the home and guide everyone of us on the right path, protect the children always and do not let them go walk but flee from the gatherings or the evil ones.
