The Promise of Deliverance
Turning to God (Psalm 18:28)
“You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”
The process of deliverance begins by turning to God, who has the power to turn our darkness into light.
Renewal of the Mind (Romans 12:2)
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Deliverance involves a transformation of the mind, allowing us to discern God’s will and escape the darkness of worldly conformity.
The Significance of Deliverance
Freedom from Sin (Romans 6:14)
“For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”
Deliverance offers freedom from the bondage of sin, empowering us to live a life in accordance with God’s grace.
Restoration of Hope (Psalm 40:2)
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.”
Deliverance restores hope and provides a solid foundation on which we can stand firm.
A New Identity (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Deliverance transforms us into new creations, breaking the chains of our old selves.
We Need Deliverance In The World
In our modern world, darkness often looms in various forms, from the struggles of addiction to the shadows of doubt. However, the biblical promise of deliverance remains unchanging. Seek God’s light and embark on the journey of deliverance to find healing, purpose, and lasting joy.

- Thank you for showing me Light and bringing me out of darkness
- Thank you for my answered prayers and speedy delivery
- Lord I come against every demonic power and deities fighting against me and my household, be consumed by the Holy Spirit fire in Jesus name.
- I command all principalities and evil kings of Egypt (spiritual slave masters who are acting as stumbling blocks before me and my blessings), to loose their hold upon my life today by the blood of Jesus in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord! Fight against those that fight against me, arise oh Lord and strike my tormentors with diverse plagues like the days of moses and Pharaoh in Jesus name.
- All witches, wizard and familiar sprits operating in my territory are located and destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
- All the giants of my life, pulling me down and sitting on my destiny should fall and die in Jesus name.
- Hear the word of the Lord all the giants of my life, fall never to rise again in Jesus name
- You made way in the wilderness for the children of Israelites, you provided for them even in the desert, you always had mercy upon your children, please look upon me and let your hands of mercy touch my life henceforth
- I command light to shine over every demonic and evil activities of people that works in darkness hovering upon my life today in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord! I decree and declare that every demonic and evil agent of darkness fighting against me to fall and die in Jesus name.
- Oh Lord, i cover myself with the blood of Jesus, I distant myself from every darkness or dark objects, every satanic cult i may have find myself in intentionally or unintentionally in Jesus name.
- Every household ancestral gods worshipped by my ancestors, and is still battling with my glory, i command them to be consumed by the holy ghost fire in Jesus name.
- Holy Ghost fire burn down very occulting activities ruining my life in Jesus name
- Fire of the Lord, burn down every dark room that has swallowed my destinies in Jesus name
- Lord! By the blood of your son Lord Jesus Christ who died of on the cross of Calvary and resurrected, destroy all my tormentors without mercy in Jesus name
- Lord you’re a covenant Keeping God, fulfill your promises for me and restore my destiny that had been hidden in dark room by the belies I. Jesus name.
- Silence every evil tongue of demonic agents of darkness speaking over my life in Jesus name.
- Every human born of woman or through Caesarean, as long as you have blood flowing through you, and you’re in the kingdom of darkens preventing me from attaining my promised land, I set you all up on fire in Jesus name. Fire of the Holy ghost begin to consume them In Jesus name
- I set every demonic power against my life up for destruction. Jesus name, I release angels of destruction to scatter and destroy them in Jesus name.
- Thank you Lord for the answered prayers
Conclusion
For the promises of God to be fulfilled over your life, first you must be delivered from the power of darkness that has taken hostage of your life. While you may think darkness is nothing beyond physical, it is a reality embedded in the scripture. Thankfully, we have an assurance in the scripture and the Lord is prepared to set us free from its hold. Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Let the Bible guide your path toward deliverance from darkness, leading you into the glorious light of God’s love and grace.
