Today we will be dealing with prayer of judgement against my enemies. If you are a regular reader of our blog, you may be wondering why we are so particular about the enemy in the last couple of posts. The enemy is our greatest adversary. If we are able to conquer the enemy, we have solved more than 60% of our life problem. In times of great adversity, we often find ourselves seeking solace and strength through faith and prayer. One such prayer is the Prayer of Judgment Against My Enemies, a request for divine intervention against those who would not let us thrive.

When the judgement of the Lord comes upon your enemy, they lose their hold over you. Your freedom becomes unhindered. The judgement of the Lord came upon Pharaoh and he was destroyed alongside with his chariots. The destruction of Pharaoh freed the children of Israel from captivity. The judgment of the Lord came upon Haman and Mordecai’s life was preserved. The judgement of the Lord must come upon your enemy and it must happen fast. The enemy must have triumph over you.

I decree by the power in the name of Jesus Christ, every enemy that has vowed to destroy you, I decree that the vengeance of the Lord come upon them this moment in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Importance of the Prayer of Judgment

The prayer of judgment is very important in our lives as individuals and as believers. Some of its importance includes

Justice

The enemy doesn’t treat us justly, he is hostile, uses force through compelling pain and agony. Prayer for judgement upon the enemy helps us get the justice that we deserve. Our justice comes from the victory we have over the enemy and that’s what prayer of judgment helps us to achieve.

The only befitting justice the children of Israel could get against pharaoh, was the destruction of Pharaoh. And truly, God knows the right judgment for every raging enemies.

Protection

Judgement doesn’t only bring justice upon our enemies, it also offer us a semblance of protection from them. Haman will not stop until he destroy Mordecai. Judgment must come speedily upon Haman to save Mordecai. Some enemies can’t be reasoned with, they can’t be pacified. The best that you can give them is judgment to ensure your protection is solidified.

Prayer for judgment helps to protect us from our enemies.

Deliverance

The judgment of the Lord deliver us from those who will hold us down as slaves. The Judgement of the Lord upon Pharaoh delivered the people of Israel from his captivity. The judgement of the Lord on Haman delivered Mordecai and his people from the hands of Haman.

The judgment of the Lord upon his your enemy can deliver you from their stronghold.

Conclusively, the prayer of judgment on enemies allow us to seek justice, protection and deliverance through our faith in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 35:1-25

Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
