Before engaging in prayer, it is crucial to arm yourself spiritually.
1. Put on the Full Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-18 describes the armor of God as essential for spiritual warfare. It includes the:
- Belt of truth
- Breastplate of righteousness

- Helmet of salvation
- Sword of the Spirit (Word of God)
2. Seek God’s Presence
Invite the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen you. Spend time in worship, allowing God’s presence to fill your heart. Psalm 91:1 declares:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
