PRAYER FOR THE NATION OF MALAWI

Today we shall be engaging in a prayer for the nation of Malawi. The nation of Malawi was formerly known as Nyasaland before it gain independence from the British colony. The name Malawi was gotten Maravi , also, Malawi pride her nickname as the “The Warm Heart of Africa” because of the friendliness and unity of the people.

Over the years, the nation of Malawi has been characterised with peace, friendliness and unity. Tribal fight, religion or political riot was never heard in Malawi. However, things have taken a new turn in recent times. There has been cases of ceaseless firing in Malawi, tirbes have rised against one another in cold war, religious organization have failed in their duty to preach the message of peace to keep together.

When trouble arises, solution should not be left in the hands of government alone. Every individual who have the love of the nation at heart should do their beat towards fostering peace and transquility in the country.
We as Africans, we owe ourselves a duty of care. If there is any abnormality happening in any country of Africa, it pertinent that we do our own beat in ensuring that peace reigns.
In the same vein, a prayer for the nation of Malawi might save the nation from pending doom.

WHY YOU SHOULD PRAY FOR THE NATION OF MALAWI

Prayer itself is a means of communicating with God. It is a way of standing in gap for others, a way of acting or operating in the office of a priest. The book of Ezekiel 22: 30 – 31 Ezekiel 22:30 “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none” 31 Ezekiel 22:31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.

This passage made us understand the influence of standing in gap for people. God is just looking for one person to intercede for the people, but He found none, hence, He destroyed the land.
So also is God looking for a man who would stand in gap for the nation of Malawi, you can be that man. And the only way you can be that man is by saying prayer for the nation of Malawi.

PRAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAWI

The scripture mandated it that we should pray for our leaders. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 – I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Many atimes, our leaders fail not because they wish to, but because their was no one to back them up in the place of prayer. When a leader is selected or elected into a position, it doesn’t matter if we like them or not, our responsibility is to pray for them. Our prayers that God should fill the heart of the leaders with the love of the people. The will and zeal to always put the people first must consume the leaders.
While saying a prayer for the nation of Malawi, pray that God should Himself elect a leader after His own heart. The man who will do the will of God for the people.

PRAY FOR THE CITIZENS OF MALAWI

The people of Malawi are quite peaceful and loving, that was why the nation of regarded as warm heart of Africa. But things have changed and people have changed too. The heart of many citizens of Malawi is pointed towards darkness, hatred and bigotry.
It is quite obvious that the love of God isn’t imminent in the lives of the people anymore. This has greatly affected the nation of Malawi and her economy. More than 80 percent of the people are living below poverty line. When there is an unrest and hatred in the heart of people, the land will not know peace.
A prayer that God should restore love and peace to the heart of the people of Malawi will help shun violent act.

PRAY FOR THE ECONOMY OF MALAWI

The economy of Malawi is strictly based on Agriculture. Meanwhile, the type of agricultural system that is practised in Malawi isn’t an attractive one. Lack of enough funds has stopped the modernization of Agriculture in Malawi. Also, more than 80 percent of the entire population of Malawi stay in the rural area.

This means that more than the same percent live below poverty line. In essence, this analyses shows that the economy of Malawi is nothing to write home about.
Most of the people of Malawi are living in abject poverty, which has incredibly increased the rate of malnutrition and heavy starvation. Life expentancy in Malawi is relatively low because the people do not have access to some basic facilities.
It is glaring that the economy of Malawi needs the spiritual wheel to move away from it present state.

PRAY FOR THE CHURCH

At this perilous time, the Church needs to be steadfast in ensuring the people are not led astray.
Also, there is a need for a fresh revival that will be birthed from the church and will spread through the length and breadth of the country.
The church needs more committed leaders, people who will stop at nothing until the gospel of God is preached all across Malawi. A real worshipper and true servant of the most high, that will preach the undiluted word of God to the people.

7). Father, in the name of Jesus, ransom this nation from every power that want to destroy her destiny. – Hosea. 13:14

8). Father in the name of Jesus, send your rescue angel to deliver Malawi from every force of destruction arrayed against her – 2 Kings. 19:35,Psalm. 34:7

9). Father, in the name of Jesus, save Malawi from every gang-up of hell aimed at destroying this Nation. – 2kings. 19:32-34

10). Father, in the name of Jesus, set this nation free from every trap of destruction set by the wicked. – Zephaniah. 3:19

11). Father, in the name of Jesus, hasten your vengeance upon the enemies of peace and progress of this nation and let the citizens of this nation be rescued from all the assaults of the wicked – Psalm. 94:1-2

12). Father, in the name of Jesus, recompense tribulation to all that trouble the peace and progress of this nation even as we pray now – 2 Thessalonians. 1:6

13). Father, in the name of Jesus, let every gang up against the continuous growth and expansion of the church of Christ in Malawi be crushed permanently – Matthew. 21:42

14). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the wickedness of the wicked against this nation come to an end even as we pray now – Psalm. 7:9

15). Father, in the name of Jesus, vent your anger upon all the perpetrators of wanton killings in this nation, as you rain up on all them fire, brimstone and a horrible tempest, thereby granting permanent rest to the citizens of this nation – Psalm. 7:11, Psalm11:5-6

16). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the rescue of Malawi from the powers of darkness contending against her destiny – Ephesians. 6:12

17). Father, in the name of Jesus, release your instruments of death and destruction against every agent of the devil set to destroy the glorious destiny of this nation – Psalm 7:13

18). Father, by the blood of Jesus, release your vengeance in the camp of the wicked and restore our lost glory as a nation. -Isaiah 63:4

19). Father in the name of Jesus, let every evil imagination of the wicked against this nation fall upon their own heads, resulting in the advancement of this nation – Psalm 7:9-16

20). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree speedy judgement against every force resisting the economic growth and development of this nation – Ecclesiastes. 8:11

31). Father, in the name of Jesus, let your peace reign in Malawi by all means, as you silence all perpetrators of unrest in the land. -2Thessalonians 3:16

44). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the fear of God saturate the length and breadth of this nation, thereby removing shame and reproach from our nations – Isaiah. 32:15-16

45). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn your hand against the adversaries of this nation, that are blocking the way forward to our economic growth and development as a nation – Psalm. 7:11,Proverbs 29:2

46). Father, in the name of Jesus, supernaturally restore the economy of this nation and let this land be filled with laughter again – Joel 2:25-26

47). Father, in the name of Jesus, bring an end to the economic woes of this nation thereby restoring her past glory – Proverbs 3:16

49). Father, in the name of Jesus, set this nation free from the scourge of unemployment by stirring waves of industrial revolution in the land -Psalm.144:12-15

55). Father, in the name of Jesus, destroy every force militating against the growth of the church in Malawi, thereby leading to further growth and expansion – Isaiah. 42:14

56). Father, in the name of Jesus. let the 2023 elections in Malawi be free and fair and let it be void of election violence all through – Job 34:29

57). Father, in the name of Jesus, scatter every agenda of the devil to frustrate the electoral process in the forthcoming elections in Malawi- Isaiah 8:9

58). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the destruction of every device of evil men to manipulate the 2023 elections in Malawi-Job 5:12

59). Father, in the name of Jesus, let there be hitch-free operations all through 2023 electoral process, thereby ensuring peace in the land- Ezekiel. 34:25

60). Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against every form of electoral malpractices in the forthcoming elections in Malawi, thereby averting post-election crisis – Deuteronomy. 32:4
