PRAYER FOR THE NATION OF ESWATINI

Today we shall be engaging in prayer for the nation of Eswatini. Being one of the smallest countries in Africa, Eswatini positioned itself in the heart of the the Southern part of the African continent. Formerly known as Swaziland, the country adopted a new name (Eswatini) as recently as last year. The country’s population is about 1.1 million people, about 26% of the population are youths between the ages of 15-year-old to 49-year-old.

Eswatini gained her independence from the control of colonialism (Great Britain) in 1968, and since then, the country’s men has been in the sphere of leadership of the nation’s affair.
The country is a landlock one, hence, there are no connecting rivers linking the country to the outside world. Having said that, the economy of Eswatini is considered to be a middle-class one. As a matter of fact, in 2016, the country was ranked 148 out of 188 in the Human Development Index (HDI). This statistics could only mean that the nation is not doing too well in economy and human development.

How that, more than 58% percent of the entire population live below poverty line. Also, serious and complicated health issues like HIV, AIDS, Malaria, Food insecurity has been one of the greatest contenders sending people of the country to their early grave. No wonder, life expentancy in Eswatini is among the lowest in Africa and World at large.
It is unarguable that this is the best time to raise an altar of prayer for the nation of Eswatini.

WHY YOU SHOULD PRAY FOR THE NATION OF ESWATINI

It is expedient that we collectively raise an altar of prayer for the nation of Eswatini to put an end to hopeless, helpless, weary and frustrating life. The scripture in book of Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

It is pertinent that God begins a new thing in Eswatini, the present condition and situation of the people in Eswatini is nothing to be written home about. That can only happen when an altar of prayer is raised for the nation of Eswatini. God has promised to do a new thing, a thing that has never been experienced before, He has promised to make a way in the wilderness of Eswatini, a river in the deserted land of the nation.
Eswatini needs to experience a new and better life that Christ has promised all humanity.

PRAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF ESWATINI

Without minding the depth of the pit a nation has fallen, God is able to save the nation and restore it what he had planned for it. The book of Job 42: 10: “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”
God needs us to pray for our nation. If we truly desire to succeed and excel in that country God had destined us to be, it is then important to always pray for it. There are so many times that the enemy of progress attacks every good man going into the office of leadership, their initial plans and intentions for the nation won’t be fulfilled the moment they get into power.

However, the scripture made us understand that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much, God needs people who will raise a standard against the standard of the enemy. Whether you like the government in power or not, your well-being as a citizen of that country depends on their actions and reactions. This means that we need to pray for the leaders, their success in office will enable our prosperity as citizens too.

PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF ESWATINI

Majority of the people in Eswatini are living below standard. There is a need for them to live their life in alignment with God’s plan for their life. It is part of God’s own agenda, for you as His child that you should tower above your contemporaries no matter how bleak the situation is. The book of Daniel 6:3: “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him, and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.” The plan of God is not for his people to live below standard.
Also, the love of God needs to dwell in the heart of the people, no wonder Christ’s greatest commandment was love your neighbor as your yourself.

PRAY FOR THE ECONOMY OF ESWATINI

The economy of a nation is the bedrock upon which the success or doom of any nation is built upon. Eswatini’s economy is crawling, that is why it was regarded as a middle class by the world bureau of statistics.

Need I say more that the people of Eswatini are living in desolation and abject poverty simply because the economy of the nation is in shambles. While saying a prayer for the nation of Eswatini, kindly remember her economy.

PRAY FOR THE CHURCHES IN ESWATINI

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
The scripture has made it known that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that safe people willing to be saved. It is pertinent to note that the situation of things in Eswatini warrant the physical and spiritual safety of the people. The churches in Eswatini must become a place of abode, a place to seek refuge and solace.

Also, the great revival for God’s kingdom must begin in the church, there is a need for true worshippers to spring forth from the church. The scripture says Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Without faith no man can please, God is a rewarder of those that deligently seek Him.

Conclusively, it is important that we do not turn a blind eye to the abnormalities happening around us, we are priests of God, we should always stand in gap for people. A prayer for the nation of Eswatini would save the next generation the stress of going through malnutrition, poverty and high rate mortality.

14). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the wickedness of the wicked against this nation come to an end even as we pray now – Psalm. 7:9

15). Father, in the name of Jesus, vent your anger upon all the perpetrators of wanton killings in this nation, as you rain up on all them fire, brimstone and a horrible tempest, thereby granting permanent rest to the citizens of this nation – Psalm. 7:11, Psalm11:5-6

16). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the rescue of Eswatini from the powers of darkness contending against her destiny – Ephesians. 6:12

17). Father, in the name of Jesus, release your instruments of death and destruction against every agent of the devil set to destroy the glorious destiny of this nation – Psalm 7:13

18). Father, by the blood of Jesus, release your vengeance in the camp of the wicked and restore our lost glory as a nation. -Isaiah 63:4

45). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn your hand against the adversaries of this nation, that are blocking the way forward to our economic growth and development as a nation – Psalm. 7:11,Proverbs 29:2

46). Father, in the name of Jesus, supernaturally restore the economy of this nation and let this land be filled with laughter again – Joel 2:25-26

47). Father, in the name of Jesus, bring an end to the economic woes of this nation thereby restoring her past glory – Proverbs 3:16

54). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn every church in this nation into a revival centre, thereby establishing dominion of the saints in the land – Micah. 4:1-2

55). Father, in the name of Jesus, destroy every force militating against the growth of the church in Eswatini, thereby leading to further growth and expansion – Isaiah. 42:14

56). Father, in the name of Jesus. let the 2023 elections in Eswatini be free and fair and let it be void of election violence all through – Job 34:29

57). Father, in the name of Jesus, scatter every agenda of the devil to frustrate the electoral process in the forthcoming elections in Eswatini- Isaiah 8:9

58). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the destruction of every device of evil men to manipulate the 2023 elections in Eswatini-Job 5:12

59). Father, in the name of Jesus, let there be hitch-free operations all through 2023 electoral process, thereby ensuring peace in the land- Ezekiel. 34:25
