Prayers For Victory In Court Case

Romans 8:33: Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

God desires victory for us at all times and in all situations, both physically and spiritually. Even before we get involved in any battle with our adversaries, God already has made provision for our victory. He says in the book of Isaiah 45, that He will go ahead of us and make crooked paths straight, and so before we get to certain crossroads, God has already gone ahead of us to grant us victory. Today we shall be engaging in prayers for victory in court case. As we pray this prayers in faith today, the God of heaven shall fight our battles in Jesus Christ name.

It is however important that when you are seeking God for victory in court cases that you are not on the side of injustice and inequality because God might not honor such prayers. He said in the book of Proverbs 11, that a false balance is an abomination to the Lord but a just weight is His delight. In other words, God Himself kicks against unfair and bias justice, even the scripture tells us that our God is a just God. When this is settled and we are sure that we are not on the wrong side of justice, then we can now go on to plead our case in the courts of heaven and seek for God’s mercy, so that it will be easier for us to get our victory here on earth.

It is very important for us to understand that life is first of all spiritual before it is physical and so approaching it from a physical standpoint alone might not be really wise. Jesus Christ while teaching His disciples how to pray taught them to ask that the will of God be done on the earth as it is in heaven. This implies that if we do not first settle our case with God in heaven and walk with Him to ensure that our victory is established, then we shouldn’t be surprised if at the end of the court proceedings we lose the case here on earth.

I have got great news for you today, because you have come to seek the face of the Lord concerning this case, you shall not lose it in Jesus Christ name. I don’t care whether the case is going against you or not, I don’t care whether you stand a chance or not, but as you call on the Lord of heaven today, He shall save you. The case shall go in your direction in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now listen to me, even if you are guilty or you have done something wrong, the mercies of God shall answer for you. Remember the case of the woman caught in the act of adultery, she in John 8:3-11, she deserved to die according to the law, bought when she was brought to Jesus Christ, the judge of all, the mercies of God saved her. Does that mean that God approves adultery? God forbid, God will never endorse sin, but the truth still remains, that every act of sin is against God and not man, and when God have forgiving you, no man can lay a charge against you and succeed. That is why I said to you this day, as you engage in this prayers for victory in court case, you shall have victory in Jesus Christ name.

One of the things we must seek for when pleading our case before God is His mercy. The Bible says in Hebrews that we should come boldly into the throne of grace that we might obtain mercy and so the first thing we need to do when pleading for victory in court cases is to seek for His mercy because we can only get His justice in our situations when we are justified by His mercy.

Notwithstanding however, God is willing to grant us justice for every form of oppression that we go through in the hands of men. The book of Psalms 10:6 says that the Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. Also, in Isaiah 54:17, God promised us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us in judgement He shall condemn. So we need not fear for even if the things we did, we did in ignorance, God is able to touch the heart of everyone involved including the judges for our sake. Proverbs 21:1 tells us that the king’s heart is in the hands of the Lord and like the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes.

This means that even if we are guilty of the offence but we are sincere enough and repentant about what we did, God is able to influence the decisions of the court, such that it will turn out for our own favour.

Our God is the God over everything. Psalm 24 tells us that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and everybody who dwell in it including our adversaries and our judges. Psalm 62:11 also tells us that all power belongs to God, in other words, if God be for us no power whether in heaven or in earth can be against us. And so far we know that God can never go into a battle and come out defeated. So, it is important that we do not fret, but that we cast our worries upon Him for He is able to take care of everything. Philippians 4:6 that we should be anxious for nothing, but in all things by prayer and supplication, we should make our request known to God, let’s therefore pray the following prayers:

PRAYERS

• Heavenly Father I want to thank you because your word is true and you never lie, you said in your word that a false balance is an abomination to you. I therefore ask that you vindicate me of every form of unfairness and injustice that is being used against me by my adversaries in the courts and you grant me victory in Jesus name.

• Lord, you promised that no weapon formed against me will prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgement shall be condemned. I therefore ask that you will condemn every tongue rising against me in judgement right now. For your word says that no one can lay a charge against your elect, for it is you who justifies. Lord justify me and set me free in Jesus name.

• Oh lord, just like David prayed I am praying also that because I trust in you, let me not be put to shame neither let my enemies triumph over me in the name of Jesus.

• Father you said I should come boldly before the throne of grace that I might obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of needs. Lord I come before your throne this moment and I ask for mercy in this situation. Lord I am repentant of everything I might have done to contribute to this case and I ask that you that by the blood of Jesus you will write-off my wrongs and set me free in the name of Jesus.

• Lord you said that the heart of a king is in your hands and you have the power to turn it in the direction you desire. I commit therefore everyone who is involved in this case into your hands and I pray that you will turn their heart to my favour in Jesus name.

• Lord I don’t know what support my adversaries have in this case but Lord rather than trust in Chariots or horses I choose to remember your ever powerful name. Your name is a strong tower and I know that if I run into it I will be safe, lord save from the hand of my adversaries and grant me victory in Jesus name.

• Heavenly Father, I pray that your justice will prevail in this and everything I might have lost in the process, they will all be restored to me in the name of Jesus.
