Today we shall be studying bible verses for anxiety. Have you ever been worried that something evil is about to happen, or that something bad might eventually happen. Sometimes we have this fear when everything seems to be going just fine I our lives, we fear for the day that evil will come knocking at our door.

Meanwhile, it has been argued and proven beyond reasonable doubt that most of the things we fear that they might happen are not going to happen. Our lives has been disrupted by lots of fears and uncertainty, we fear what the future holds for us that we forget that there is someone who own and holds the future in His hands.
Anxiousness will not in any way bring solution to a difficult situation, it will only bring fear which will further complicate the situation. As against our believe or thought that something bad will happen, God has promised and given us an assurance in the scripture. Can you remember the scripture that says we should be worry for nothing, but in everything through prayers Thanksgiving and supplications we should make our request known unto God? God doesn’t want us to worry, as a matter of fact, his plans for our lives is so perfect that we can and should get things done with little or no stress at all.
Recall that the scripture says, For I know the plans that I have towards you they are the thought of good and not of evil to give you an expected end. God does not want us to worry at all. He has laid down plans for our lives, all he just wants us to do is follow His plans for our lives. Instead of being worried, find solace in the scripture, seek refuge in the promises and word of God.

Bible Verses For Anxiety
1 Peter 5:6-7 – Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:6 – Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.
Hebrews 13:6 – So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
1 Peter 5:10 – But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle [you].
Psalms 32:8-10 – I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
John 14:1-4 – Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, also believe in me.
Psalms 34:14 – Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not; neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye need all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
