Prayer For Immediate Help From God

Today we shall be engaging in prayer for immediate help from God. If you have been consistent with our publications, you may have read our article on short prayer for help. If you have read that, you might be wondering what’s now the essence of prayer for immediate help from God when we already have short prayer for help. You must know that help in itself takes a longer process when God would deliver the children of Isreal from the bondage of Pharaoh, their deliverance didn’t come overnight, it took gradual processes. God knew that the children of Isreal had to pass through some processes; that is why He allowed their deliverance to come gradually.

On the other, when the got to the red sea and there was no way forward and, yet, Pharaoh and his chariots were racing behind them to catch up with them and return the children of Isreal to slavery in Egypt. The help that the children Isreal needed at that time was not the type that comes gradually. They needed immediate help, an instantaneous one, the one that will happen almost immediately. Also, in our lives, some help would come gradually, and there are some that have to happen that very minute, or else, an unpleasant occurrence might happen. For instance, someone going into the theater for surgery and the chances of survival is 50/50. Such a person needs immediate help.

Another perfect example of immediate help can be found in the book of Joshua when Joshua was fighting the Amorites, Joshua knew that night was coming, and the enemies will flee when the earth is covered with darkness. Therefore, they needed help, Joshua commanded the sun to standstill over Gideon, and the moon should reach standstill over Ajalon. The scripture recorded it that God has never listened to the prayer of a man as he did to Joshua. We also need some immediate help in our life, over our businesses, over our academics, career, and everything that pertains to our life.

Prayer Points:

• Lord God, I pray for your help as I will be going into the theater tomorrow, I pray that your hands will go with me in the name of Jesus. The scripture says the eyes of the Lord is always upon the righteous, and his ears are always attentive to their prayers. Father Lord, I pray that your hands will be upon my life, I pray that your protection will be upon me. Lord, I pray that by your mercy, you work with the doctors and nurses, and you will give them victory in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I pray for your help in tomorrow’s verdict. If the otherwise should happen, people will mock your holy name through me. They have known that it is you alone that I serve, and I’m devoted to my service to you. Father Lord, on this note, I seek help. The scripture made me know that you have the heart of man and kings, and you direct them like the flow of waters. I pray that you will touch the heart of the judge, and he/she will give a ruling in my favor. It has been written that if the way of a man pleases God, He will cause him to find favor in the sight of men. Lord Jesus, let me find favor in the sight of the judge tomorrow by your precious name.
• Lord God, my adversaries, is too much, and they have vowed not to rest until they put me down. However, I take solace in your word that says the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved. Father Lord, I pray that you will arise and give me victory over them in the name of Jesus. Arise O Lord and let your enemies be scattered, let those that hatee and seek for my downfall be put to shame.
• Lord Jesus, you are my real help in the moment of need. I have been accused of wrongly; the rest of the world now sees me as the culprit because of the words they have heard about me. Only you know that I’m Innocent, and I don’t know anything about the offense. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will vindicate me. I pray that you will cause a fight to happen in the camp of my enemies, and you create disparities among them. Let those who have spoken ill of me never to find peace, no matter how hard they try, let them be put to shame continually. In their sleep tonight appear to them as the Lion in the tribe of Judah, let them see in their dream cause them never to have peace until they speak the truth.
• Father Lord, long waiting always causes the hope and faith of a man to shake. Lord, long have I waited for you to bless me, but now, it seems I’m running out of patience, the words of the wicked comes raging at me every day. I have been made an object of ridicule because of my nature. But I know that you are the God that blesses people. The scripture says my God will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus. I key into this word of God, and I pray for the provision of all my needs in the name of Jesus. I pray that by your mercy, you will supply all my needs, you will bless me abundantly, the blessings that will cause the mouth to open ajar, the blessing that will inspire other people, I pray that you help me in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I pray for every man and woman out there that has been rendered helpless. You are the help of the helpless, the father of the fatherless, and I pray that you will help them in the name of Jesus. Meet everyone at the point of their needs and cause them to sing Hallelujah to your holy name. Amen.
