Prayer For Divine Protection in 2021

Today we will be dealing with a prayer for divine protection in 2021. As much as the new year 2021 will be filled with lots of blessings, we can’t dispute the fact that the new year will be filled with dangers too. That’s why it is important to pray for divine protection. The scripture says except the Lord watch over the city; the watchman only watches in vain. Our diligence and carefulness are not sufficient enough to protect us from the evil that is aligned with 2021.

Let’s draw a reference from the scripture using the story of the Israelites as a reference. The divine protection of God was upon the children of Isreal even while they were held captive in the land of Egypt. Despite the gory experiences and deadly plague that befell the Egyptians, the divine protection of God Almighty was upon the children of Isreal.

Remember, when the angel of death visited the land of Egypt and killed all the first fruits of the Egyptians, the children of Isreal were exempted because of the divine protection of God upon their lives. This is what the protection of God would do in our life. Not that challenges will not arise, not that problems will not occur, but the protection of God will Shield us. The book of Psalm 91:7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. The scripture has promised that no evil will befall us, and that is certain cause what God has promised won’t go unfulfilled.

Whatever thing that 2021 has in store, the Lord has promised to protect us from all evil. No evil shall befall, nor a plague comes near our dwelling place in the year 2021. I decree by the authority of heaven every evil that has been stationed to affect you in the new year; I decree that they are destroyed in the name of Jesus. Every monitoring power, every demonic animal that has been sent to bite you, let the fire of the Holy Ghost destroy them today in the name of Jesus. As you begin to use this prayer guide, may the angel of protection be with you everywhere you go in the year 2021.

Prayer Points:

• Lord God, I thank you for the grace you have bestowed upon me to see this day. I exalt your holy name because you are God. Let your Holy name be exalted in the name of Jesus. I magnify you because you are God over my life, I thank you for the grace of Healthy life, I thank you for the sound mind you have given to me, Lord let your name be exalted in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I thank you for your protection over my life and family throughout the heat of 2020. You shielded my family and me during the outbreak of Covid-19. You didn’t let the plague affect any member of my family, Father, let your name be exalted in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I pray concerning 2021, I pray for your divine protection over my life and family in 2021, Lord let it be sufficient in the name of Jesus. The book of Thessalonians 3:3-5 says But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. Lord, I pray that your protection will be upon my life in the name of Jesus. I pray that you will rescue my family and me from the evil that roams about in the day and the pestilence that flies in the night in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, the scripture says the Lord will go before me and level up exalted places. Father Lord, I pray that you will go before me into 2021 and remove every danger out of my way in the name of Jesus. For it has been written that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Lord, I come against every evil attack the enemy is planning for my life in 2021. I destroy such attacks by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
• The book of Psalm 17:8-10 says, Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings 9 from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me. 10 They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance. Father Lord, I pray that you will keep me as the apple of your eye that no evil will befall me or any member of my family. I pray that your power and spirit will guide me and protect me from every evil vice coming in 2021.
• Lord Jesus, whatever is the enemy’s plan to change the good riding of 2021 into sorrow and wailing, I decree that it is destroyed in the name of Jesus. The scripture says who speaks, and it comes to pass when God has not spoken. Lord, I pray that your counsel alone will stand over 2021 in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray that you will endow me with your holy spirit and power. The spirit of the Lord that will ignite my mortal body and tell of things that are to come, the spirit that will nurture and guide me, I pray that you release it upon me in the name of Jesus.
• For it has been written in the book of Isaiah 41:10-12 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. Lord, you told me not to be scared, for you are with me, and I should not be dismayed because you are God. I stand on the promises of your word. You promise to strengthen me. I pray that you release your strength upon me in the name of Jesus. Your word says I will find my enemy, and they shall not be found. I decree that you will destroy all my enemies in the name of Jesus.
