Prayer Points To Revive Dead Church

Today we will be dealing with prayer points to revive a dead church. Before we commence, let’s first clear the perception that most believers have about the word Church. The church is not the physical building or mighty edifice where we go to every Sunday to worship God. The physical building is just another fine mansion without the congregation of saints. The congregation of people is what is called the church.

A dead church means a congregation of people who have lost the true creed of their calling. A congregation of people without the divine spirit of God. We are the church. If the name of God will thrive, if the gospel of Christ will be spread abroad, the church needs to be in the right standing. When the spirit of God is missing in the gathering of people, that means the church is dead and when the church is dead, the power of darkness will thrive. The book of Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. But what happens when the church loses it brightness, the kingdom of darkness will prevail.

Christ said on this rock I will build my church and the gate of hell will not prevail over it. There has been a long age battle between the church of the lord and the gate of hell. It is so sad that many churches has been defeated by the gate of hell. Many churches have lost their place in God, sermon no longer carry power as heresy is being preached on the altar. The lord wants to revive all dead churches. He wants to bless churches with the power of the holy ghost. He wants to restore the church to its latter glory. I decree by the authority of heaven, every dead vessel in the church receive life this moment in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points:

• Father Lord, I thank you for another beautiful day like this. I thank you for your protection over the congregation of people. I thank you for your provision. I thank you for your mercy over our lives as a church and individuals, may your name be highly exalted in the name of Jesus.

• Lord, I pray that the power of God Almighty will go into the church, every form of death is revived in the name of Jesus. For it has been written, if the power of Him that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, it will quicken your mortal body. I decree that the power of ressurection enter into the church in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray that you will sanctify our lives and make it holy and acceptable in your sight in the name of Jesus. I pray that you will teach and walk us on the part of righteousness. We refuse to be a slave to sin, we refuse to be a slave to the power of hell and torment of death. Every dead vessels in the church should receive life in the name of Jesus.
• For it has been written, Whatever tree my father has not planted shall be uprooted. Lord I pray that your power will go round the church today, every goat, every wolf in sheep clothing, I pray that the power of the lord will flush them out in the name of Jesus. Every man and woman that needs to be flushed out, I pray that the power of God will flush them out in the name of Jesus.
• The scripture says when the lord restore the captive of Zion we were like those who dream. Lord, I pray that you shall restore the glory of the church in the name of Jesus. The glory of the latter shall surpass the former saith the lord of host. I pray that by your mercy, you will bring the church to the latter glory in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray for a consistent fire to begin to burn upon the altar of the church and upon the altar of our lives in the name of Jesus. For it has been written on this rock I will build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail. Lord, I pray that by your mercy, you will grant the church victory over the gate of hell in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray that you will help all the church elders and spiritual leaders in the name of Jesus. I pray for a perfect understanding of the man called Christ for all church elders and spiritual leaders in the name of Jesus. Grant them a better understanding of you in the name of Jesus. That they will not come on the altar and preach heresy to people, let them know you more in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, for every church member, lord grant them the grace to be in the right standing with you in the name of Jesus. I come against the power of sin in the life of every church member, grant them the grace to live a righteous life in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray for a total reformation of the church. I pray that you revive the church from the power of hell in the name of Jesus. Give power to the church for it be a terror to the kingdom of darkness in the name of Jesus. The scripture says the light shine so bright and darkness comprehend it not. Father Lord, I pray that you will grant the church grace to continually shine it light abroad in the name of Jesus.
• Every form of lukewarmness in the church, I decree by the authority of heaven that it is taken out today in the name of Jesus. Every demon of backwardness that has sent to ravage this church, I decree that the fire of the holy ghost burn such demons to ashes in the name of Jesus.
• Thank you lord for the restoration of the church, in Jesus name I pray.
