Prayer Points Against Blindness of The Heart

Today we will be dealing with prayer points against the blindness of the heart. One of the worst things that can happen to a man is blindness. It is a state where the sight of a man is not functioning. Imagine a blind man walking through the street without help. Such is the life of a man who is blinded spiritually. The blindness of the heart is a form of repellent that the enemy put in people’s minds, making it difficult for them to believe the gospel of Christ.

The book of 1 Corinthians 1:8 stated that For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. You only believe in the gospel of Christ because you are saved. Those whose heart has been blinded by heresy and vices of the enemy will count it as foolishness. The enemy understands this; that is why he often inflict people with a blindness of the heart. Regardless of how much preaching you do, how much evangelism you do, they will not believe Christ is the way, the truth, and the light.

The scripture further explains the nemesis of this type of blindness in the book of 2 Corinthians 4:3-6, ”But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

A man with the blindness of the heart is a lost sheep. He is a lost sheep because he can’t hear the shepherd’s voice. Even when he hears it, he won’t still yield to it. This is because the enemy has put a veil of darkness upon his mind, which affects his understanding. The blindness of the heart is a severe disease because anything that affects the heart of a man affects the whole body. The scripture says from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. It means every word, action, and reaction that a man exudes results from the thoughts in his heart. Little wonder the enemy focuses on the heart of men inflicting it with great evil.

We will be raising a standard against every spiritual darkness, against every blindness of the heart. One last thing that happens to a man with a blind heart is the lack of presence of God. Such a person will be devoid of the spirit of God. And when a man lacks the spirit of God, such a person becomes prey to the devil.

Prayer is the only cure for this sickness. This prayer will be a prayer of deliverance. Many Christians wallow in the toxic of spiritual blindness. They need to be freed from this demon. The scripture says the effectual prayer of the righteous avail. If you have someone who doesn’t want to listen to the gospel of Christ or doesn’t believe in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, do well to pray for them. If your spouse doesn’t attend church anymore or believes in Jesus Christ, do not keep silent on this prayer. Pray it fervently.

Prayer Points:

• Lord, I thank you for the grace to see another day. I magnify you for giving me the privilege to pray over this matter again. I thank you for your loving kindness; may your name be highly exalted in the name of Jesus.
• Father Lord, I pray for the forgiveness of my sin, in any way that I have sinned and fall short your glory, I pray that you will forgive me in the name of Jesus. Because of the bloodshed on the cross of Calvary, I pray that you wash away my sins entirely in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every satanic veil covering my heart making it difficult for the gospel of Christ to penetrate. I remove such veils with the fire of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every form of blindness that is troubling me, I decree healings upon myself in the name of Jesus. I decree that the healing of God will come upon me in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I break every demonic shackle that has been used to hold me down. I destroy them today in the name of Jesus. I pray for listening ears and a contrite heart, a spirit of brokenness. I pray that you grant it to me in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray that you will search my heart, and you will heal every blindness on it today in the name of Jesus. I refuse to continue to walk in darkness. I want to start manifesting in the marvelous light of God. Lord, I pray that every blindness in my heart is healed today in the name of Jesus.
• Every Power that has blocked my heart against the gospel of Christ, I destroy you today in the name of Jesus. I pray for a supernatural type of encounter with the father. I pray that it happens in the name of Jesus.
• I pray for an encounter. An encounter that will remove every demonic veil that has been used to cover my eyes, I pray that you will let it happen in the name of Jesus. The type of encounter that you caused Apostle Paul to have on his way to Damascus, I pray that you will let me have it in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every evil arrow that has been fired to destroy my spiritual eyes and ears, I come against such arrows by the blood of the lamb. I rebuke every form of confusion in my heart about the Son of man. Lord, I pray that you will visit me today with your mighty hands in the name of Jesus.
• I pray for a special kind of revelation that will clear my doubt about the cross and the man called Jesus Christ. I pray that you let it happen to me in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I pray that you will set me free from every form of blindness in the name of Jesus. From today, I activate my spiritual sense organ. My eyes are opened in the name of Jesus. My ears are opened in the name of Jesus. I decree that my heart is sanctified in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every evil veil that has been used to cover my sight catch fire today in the name of Jesus.
