It is more about how you relate with people based on what wants for them. There are men of God whose words and attitude have done nothing but create disparity in the body of Christ. There are men of God who can’t keep to their words and they have created problems by their inability to do things the right way.
Yes, your child might have the spiritual gifts to become a man of God, but he also needs the right heart to do it.
They Will Be Servant and Leaders Conveniently
To some men of God, it is easier for them to lead than follow. Being a man of God doesn’t directly put you in charge, there are times that you need to listen to the people you are leading.
Some men of God are filled with pride that they trash the opinion of their followers. They believe what they say is the best and it must be followed. Also to God. Some are quick to forget that it is God who has called them to lead His people. They even go against the instructions of God.
God Should Grant Them Patience
Moses was a great man of God but he lacked the spirit of patience at one point. He was angered by the behaviour of the people of Isreal and he reacted. In the end, he could not enter the promise of land.
Among all things created by God, humans are the most difficult to lead. That’s why anyone who has the calling to lead humans must be very calm so as not to misbehave.

Give Them A New Heart
(Ezekiel 36:26). Give him a new heart and a new spirit put within him. Remove the heart of stone from his flesh and give him a heart of flesh”
Lord, I pray that you will renew the heart of my son. He has to make a great man of God, I pray that you will equip him. with the right kind of heart. I pray that you will remove the heart of stone. I pray that you will deliver him from the spirit of stubbornness and give him the heart of flesh in the name of Jesus.
I pray that you will grant him the grace to always listen to you and the people around him when it matters.
Give Him A Clean Heart
(Psalm 51:10). Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”
Father, I pray that you will create in my son a clean heart. I pray for a heart that is free from sin and iniquity. I pray for a heart that is free from selfish desires and a negative strong-willed spirit. I pray that you will renew a right spirit within him so he can function well in the office you have called him for.
I pray that you will search him thoroughly and remove every negative thing from his mind. I ask that your spirit will invade his mind and thoughts and you will change him completely. Let his thoughts be yours, let his desires be towards your things alone and let his affection be to your things and your people in the name of Jesus.
Let Him Desire You Alone
(Psalm 27:4). One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple”
As the scripture says the things of the Lord consume my spirit, I pray that the things of the Lord shall consume the thought of my son. I pray that he shall desire you alone and nothing else. The spirit for him to dwell in your house all the days of his life, I pray that you release it upon him in the name of Jesus.
Let Him Find Strength In You
(2 Corinthians 12:9) But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me”
Father, I’m not unaware that there will be challenges and tribulations on his way, but I pray that your grace will sustain him. I pray that you will grant him the strength he needs to discharge his duties effectively. Lord, I pray that you shall help him in a moment of weakness.
The scripture says my strength is made perfect in weakness. I ask for the grace that will help him during a moment of weakness, release it upon him in the name of Jesus.
Grant Him Wisdom and Let Him Gear You
Job 28:28 Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.
Father Lord, I pray that you will grant my son the grace to fear you. For the scripture says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I pray that you will equip him with the wisdom he needs to lead your people.
For it has been written, if anyone lacks wisdom let him ask from God that gives liberally without blemish. I pray that you grant him the wisdom that is required in the name of Jesus.
