Christmas is dedicated to the celebration of Christ’s birth. It should remind us of His life and mission here on earth. God could have sent Christ to come into the world as a spirit but He chose to send Him here as human just like us. In the same vein, Christ went through pain and agony. He was subjected to the temptations of the enemies, he was ridiculed, taken, and killed. These are some of the essences of the Christmas celebration.

5 Christmas Traditions Every Christian Family Must Follow

Get Your Family Together and Pray

The first thing you should do on Christmas day is gathering your family together and pray to God. Thank God for giving Jesus Christ to the world to die for the sin of human. If Christ has not come to the world, the human race would have been in jeopardy. This is one of the reasons why before anything on Christmas day gather your family and pray, thank God immensely for the gift of Christ Jesus to the world.

Make it a habit every Christmas morning to thank God together as a family. Although many churches host Christmas day services. Nevertheless, the gathering of the brethren should not replace your family gathering. Think of it that Christ came to the world for your family alone and be grateful to God the Father for that grace.

Jesus Christ is the greatest gift of God to mankind. Every Christmas should remind us of the undying love of the father to us. Before you start the day’s business, get your family together and thank God together.

See A Movie That Teaches About Jesus

Sometimes the best way to reflect on the life of Jesus is through movies. There are so many movies out that teach the story of Jesus in full.

For instance, Passion of Christ is a good movie to see on Christmas day. As parents, it is not good enough that you see the movie alone. Ensure your children also see the movie. Everybody knows that the color of Christmas is White and Red. These two colors have a significant interpretation in the realm of the spirit.
