Today we will be dealing with prayer points against the scourge of failure. The scourge of failure refers to the stronghold of failure or covenant of failure working against a man. While it is normal for humans to experience failure at some point in life, a man that is working under the influence of the scourge of failure will never experience success in any phase of life not even in the littlest thing. The scourge of failure must have badly tormented Jabez in the scripture. He never prospered in all that he do just because his mother put a curse on him due to the predicament that surround his birth.

There are so many believers today we are still under this scourge and until they are freed from it, they will never experience any development or success in their lives. A man who is under this Scourge would have tried his hands on so many things but none will ever translate into success. Even if he ventures into a business that has the highest probability of success, he would still fail in it. That’s why you must be freed from the scourge of failure.

One of the ways you will know you are under the scourge of failure is that you have never experienced any tangible success in your life. Even when you do the littlest thing, you are still not successful in it. The same thing other people are doing and they are doing great, the moment you try it, the story becomes different. You have been stagnant for years due to constant failures in life. This scourge will hinder your growth and development and it will make you glued to a spot or position until you break free from its hold. Today, the Lord shall deliver you from the scourge of failure. That demon of failure tormenting your life, the Lord shall cause a separation between you two in the name of Jesus Christ.

• Father Lord, I magnify you because you are God. I thank you for your grace, I magnify you for your mercy. The scripture said If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, When men rose against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive When their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul. I thank you because you have been my shield and buckler, may your name be exalted in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Lord, I seek for the forgiveness of my sin, in every way that I have sinned and fallen short of the glory, I pray that you forgive me in the name of Jesus Christ. For it has been written, he that hides his sins will not prosper but he that confess and forsake them shall find mercy. Lord, every sin that is making sin to the scourge of failure, I pray that you forgive me today in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Lord, I come against every scourge of failure tormenting my life, I destroy it today by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Every agent of darkness bringing the scourge of failure upon me, I decree my freedom from you today in the name of Jesus Christ. I announce to every household power and enemy inflicting my life with failure, I’m free from you today in the name of Jesus Christ. For it has been written, he that the son has set free is free indeed. I decree by the mercy of the Lord, I’m free today in the of Jesus Christ. 
• Father, I change my identity today by your power. Every means or method that the scourge of failure adopts to monitor me, I decree that they are changed today in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, I anoint myself with the blood of the lamb and I remove my name from the list of people tormented by this terrible scourge of failure in the of Jesus Christ. 
• Lord, I pray that you shall bless my hands for Success, and everything I lay these hands upon shall prosper in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree that from today, there shall be no more failures in the name of Jesus Christ. Every root of failure in my life is removed by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. For it has been written, any tree that my father has not planted shall be uprooted. I decree by the authority of heaven, every root of failure is destroyed by fire today in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Father, I ask for a separation between me and the scourge of failure. Every vices that the enemy is using against me, I decree there be a separation between us today in the name of Jesus Christ. In every area of my life that success has been replaced with failure, I pray for divine restoration today in the name of Jesus Christ. For it has been, I’m God of all flesh is there anything impossible for me to do? Lord, there is nothing impossible for you to do, I decree that you bring restoration in every area of my life that delay, stagnation, and failure have replaced success, in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Father, I command the breakdown of every power of darkness that has been designed to work against me in the name of Jesus Christ. Every plan of the enemy to cause me to fail is scattered today in the name of Jesus Christ. From today, everything I lay my hands upon shall prosper, I shall not know failure any more in the name of Jesus Christ.
