To some God has blessed them with the gifts of prophesying, minsters, evangelist, pastors, teaching. All are called ministers of God. Pastors are considered popular when they have many people following them as they follow Jesus Christ. These followers can be called the pastors’ sheep. The devil understands the principle in our memory verse for today, so these popular pastors are usually major targets for him.

He knows that if he can get them to fall and even spoil their reputation, their sheep would scatter and he can begin to feast on them. This is why, instead of joining people to criticize popular Pastors, you should be praying for them. If you don’t support what they are doing and you do not have direct access to them, talk to their employer (God) about it, rather than joining the devil to pull them down.

In 2 Samuel 11:3-4, when David sent for Bathsheba to have an illicit affair with her, she consented because he was the king. There was a huge gap between the king and her husband who was an ordinary soldier.

It may surprise you to know that there are some women who consider it a privilege to have illicit affairs with Bishops, General Overseers, Apostles, Senior Pastors and so on. Yes, it is a sin, but the devil has blinded their hearts so much that they now see it as prestigious.

That is why you need to pray for them. Don’t assume that they don’t need your prayers. Infact, the more their influence, the more prayers they are In need of. You also need to pray for popular Pastors because every now and then, they step into dangerous territories to preach the gospel.

Some of them travel through dangerous roads and go to volatile regions to share the gospel of Christ. Some of them also have to relate with the high and mighty in society, so they need boldness, to tell the truth without compromise.

With the boldness and wisdom needed to draw the high and mighty closer to God, imagine the impact it would have on their leadership and spheres of influence. Believe me honestly, when you pray for them, you are praying for the Body of Christ at large and God will bless you for it.

1. Bless God on behalf of the misters of God because they’re the salt of the world, the light of the world, a royal priesthood, those who have given their lives to Christ to use to bring back His lost sheep. 2. We pray Lord Jesus that you take charge of the environment of our pastors, evangelist and so on so that they can successfully carry out their mission here on earth.
3. Lord Jesus we don’t want them to fail you. We don’t want them to go astray, we don’t want them to be Incapacitated by the devil.
4. We want them Lord Jesus by your power to spread your light all over the world successfully because the world is waiting for their manifestations and their glory must shine brightly before men and all over the world so that the world will see signs that they’re truly called and chosen by you.
5. The world is full of lots of iniquities and sins, help our pastors to stand the test of time, help them to joinery with you until the end, grant them wisdom knowledge and understanding to walk this journey with you.
6. Empower them with your Holy Spirit so that they can always overcome and win the devil at all times.
7. Help them not to fall into temptations
8. Soak them with the blood of Jesus
9. Fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit, the type that came upon your disciples on the day of Pentecost so that they will be blessed with many gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
10. Every evil gathering coming together to destroy them scatter them by fire of the Holy Ghost.
11. Do not give the enemies power to conquer your children of God.
12. Most importantly help them to win this kingdom race and wine and dine with you in heaven.
13. Make them conquerors in Jesus name.
