What is the Significance of Swimming

Swimming is a recreational activity that requires strength and courage. And this is why is not everyone that can swim. To be able to swim one must first overcome the fear of water. Once the courage is present, swimming becomes easy.

There are several reasons why people swim. Some do it for fun others take it as a more serious activity because it fetch them money. While swimming involves water, there are several places people swim. Some swim in the pool, lake, river, ocean, and even spring.

Regardless of where you swim, one thing is sacrosant, swimming is a lovely activity and it is quite synonymous to freedom.

Biblical Meaning of Swimming

Swimming in the dream could have a positive and negative meaning. If you find yourself swimming in a clean blue sea, it signifies purity. It means the spirit of God is trying to wash you clean from certain infirmity. Remember how the spirit of God come down once in a year to stir to heal different disease and infirmity. John 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

When you see yourself swimming in the water it means the spirit of God wants to heal you from certain infirmity. Also, it could mean God is preparing you for a great task. Swimming signifies strength and courage.

The negative meaning of swimming in the water is that it signifies the presence of marine spirit. And when marine spirits are at work, it can lead to delay. If you are a married man and you find yourself swimming in the water. If you are swimming comfortably, it means God is trying to take you somewhere. But if you are struggling to stay afloat, it means the power of darkness is trying to torment you.

Do you understand what it takes to drown in the water? It means death. This could mean the enemy is trying to take something away from you.

What You Should Do If You See Yourself Swimming In The Dream

Regardless how you feel after dreaming, here are the things you must do once you wake up.

Pray

The first thing you should do once you wake from sleep is to pray. There are times that the enemy will try to inflict fear into you through dreams. Once you have been defeated by fear, it gives the enemy a better access to inflict more pain and suffering I to your life.

So once you wake from sleep, pray. Talk to God to curse every plans of the enemy over your life. Rebuke the power of marine world over your life. The spirit of delay and stagnation must be destroyed over your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

See Your Pastor

After praying, you should seek counsel and guidance from your pastor. Men of God carry the grace to avert dangers. They have the auction of heaven to speak things into reality. Also, they have the grace to command the day.

When you meet your pastor, narrate your dreams. Your pastor will pray with you.

Be Watchful

There may be somethings you do that God is not pleased with. You should be watchful. Be vigilant and never stop praying.

• Father Lord, I understand you are building me for strength and courage, I pray that you complete the process in the name of Jesus Christ.
