Daniel 9:17 “Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord, make your face shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, hear; O Lord forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name”

Demonic delay is what the devil use to delay the destiny and glory of God’s children, no one can deem our shine and glory as long as we have God. Demonic delay comes in different ways like;

• Battling with spiritual problems like bad dreams and evil nightmares
• Stagnation, delay
• Some even experience delay in all areas of their lives like marriage, career, promotion to mention a few.
• Some Loses good opportunities that should turn their life around for good because the devil doesn’t want them to progress and move forward in life.

Causes of Demonic Delay

• Sin
• Prayerlessness
• Foundational curses
• Family curses and problems etc

How to fight against spiritual delay

The only way is to pray. The Bible says if the foundation be destroyed what will the righteous do?. The righteous will pray and ask God for help. Our help comes from God the maker and creator of heaven and earth.

Yes, Lord, hear our prayers and the prayers of the saints! Act mightily and speedily O Lord!

Acts 3:1-3,6,9-10
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

When your property you never thought could be useful is transformed, you rejoice.

From the verses we are considering today, we learnt that the lame man at the gate Beautiful who was reduced to a lower status of a begger because of his situation, got healed and he greatly rejoiced. As such laugh best at this stage of his life. Normally, a person in that his condition, would laugh better when situation turned better. That is what happened to him.

No matter what is stealing your joy now, know that a time to laugh best is just on the way. Psalms 30:5 weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. The season for you to laugh best in your life cannot be truncated. Prepare and remain focus.

Beloved, God has plan to change any negative situation to a glorious one. Then you will laugh best. But remember to be His own by asking of forgiveness of your sins from Him.
