Today we will be dealing with prayer points for protection using psalm 91. Psalm 91 is one of the most effective passages in the Bible that can be used to pray for protection over family and friends. There is no denying to the fact that we need the protection of God more than ever before. The world has degenerated into chaos and despair. The enemy is on rampage to destroy the people of God. It is only by the mercy and protection of God that we are not consumed.

The scripture makes us understand that our adversary, the enemy doesn’t rest. He goes about day and night looking for whom to devour. That’s why we must ensure the protection of God is activated over our life all the time. In today’s article, we will explain explicitly how we can pray for protection using psalm 91.
Prayer Points For Protection Using Psalm 91

Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

• Father Lord, I thank you for counting me worthy to fall under the hands of your protection. That as I continue to dwell in your secret place, I will continue to abide in your shadow in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Lord, I have confess that you are my refuge and strength. You are my God in whom I trust. I ask that by the promise of your word, you deliver from the snare of the Fowler. Deliver me from the hands of evil hunter monitoring my life for evil. Grant me victory over the demonic friend that wants me dead in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• You have promised to cover me with your feather so that no harm shall befall me. I will stay under your wings and your truth shall be my sheild and buckler in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree that the son shall not smite me by the day and the moon shall not hurt me in the night. The evil that roams about in the day shall have no dominion over me. I decree by your mercy that the arrows that fly in the night shall not come near my dwelling place in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Father, you have promised in your word that you will give your angels charge over me and they shall carry me in their hands so that I don’t dash my feet against the rock. I decree by the authority of heaven, the angel of the Lord shall take charge over my life this moment in the name of Jesus Christ. They shall carry me in their hands. I shall not be confronted by difficult situation in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Your word promised that only with my eye shall I see and behold the reward of the wicked but none of it shall come near me. I pray that your grace exempt me when evil come lurking. When untimely comes rampaging, I ask that your protection be upon me and family in the name of Jesus Christ. You said a thousand shall fall by my right and ten thousand by my left but they shall not come near me. I pray for the manifestation of this promise. 
• Lord, I shall witness the reward of the wicked, those who have no good intentions towards me and those who wants me dead. I shall witness their reward and no harm shall come near me or any member of my family in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Lord, when the trouble of this life comes raging at me, I have comfort in you that you will be there with me. I shall walk upon the head of the serpent and it shall not harm me. You shall chastise the lions for my sake. Because I have set my love for you, you shall deliver me from all evil. 
• Throughout the days in 2023 and beyond, no evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling place. You shall honor me with long life and prosperity and your salvation you shall show me and every member of my household in the name of Jesus Christ.
