Today we will be dealing with Prayer Points To Control Your Thoughts. The kind of thoughts that finds way into the heart will to a large extent shape our behaviour. A man becomes a identity of the kind of thoughts that find way into his heart. That’s why the scripture advised that we guide our heart with all deligence because out of it flows the abundance of life.
The enemy understands that the heart of man carries so much power and it practically controls a man. That’s why he will always invade the heart of man with evil thoughts in order to possess him. Every good and evil deed started with a thought from the heart. The idea of killing Abel came as a thought in the mind of Abel. And since Abel could not control the thoughts in his heart, he killed his brother. The idea of betraying Christ Jesus started as a thought in the mind of Judas Iscariot. The devil had painted in his heart everything he could do with money he would make from betraying Christ.

Man will continue to fall prey to the temptation of the enemy unless he’s able to guide the thoughts of his heart. While there are many things one could do to control the thought of the heart, prayer is always an important tool to control the kind of thoughts that invade our heart. Today we will be offering insightful prayers that would help us control the thought of our heart. I pray by the mercy of the Lord, you shall be freed from evil thoughts in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer Points To Control Your Thoughts
- Lord, the scripture says the entrance of your word brings understanding. I ask that you send your word into my life. Your word that will give me a better understanding of you that will help guard my heart and control my thoughts, I ask that you speak that word into my life today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Lord, I pray for the hands of the Holy Spirit upon my life. Your spirit that will quicken my mortal body I ask that you send your spirit into my life today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Father Lord, I surrender my heart, body and soul to your able power and will, I ask that you spirit will take over my life today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Father, the Psalmist said the things of the Lord consume my spirit, I ask that the things of you consume my spirit. I want think of you and you alone. I come against every evil thoughts in my mind in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Father Lord, I pray for the forgiveness of my sin, in any way that I have sinned and fall short your glory, I pray that you will forgive me in the name of Jesus. Because of the bloodshed on the cross of Calvary, I pray that you wash away my sins entirely in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every satanic veil covering my heart making it difficult for the gospel of Christ to penetrate. I remove such veils with the fire of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every form of blindness that is troubling me, I decree healings upon myself in the name of Jesus. I decree that the healing of God will come upon me in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I break every demonic shackle that has been used to hold me down. I destroy them today in the name of Jesus. I pray for listening ears and a contrite heart, a spirit of brokenness. I pray that you grant it to me in the name of Jesus.

- I pray for an encounter. An encounter that will remove every demonic veil that has been used to cover my eyes, I pray that you will let it happen in the name of Jesus. The type of encounter that you caused Apostle Paul to have on his way to Damascus, I pray that you will let me have it in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every evil arrow that has been fired to destroy my spiritual eyes and ears, I come against such arrows by the blood of the lamb. I rebuke every form of confusion in my heart about the Son of man. Lord, I pray that you will visit me today with your mighty hands in the name of Jesus.
- I pray for a special kind of revelation that will clear my doubt about the cross and the man called Jesus Christ. I pray that you let it happen to me in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I pray that you will set me free from every form of blindness in the name of Jesus. From today, I activate my spiritual sense organ. My eyes are opened in the name of Jesus. My ears are opened in the name of Jesus. I decree that my heart is sanctified in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, every evil veil that has been used to cover my sight catch fire today in the name of Jesus.
