Today we will be dealing with Powerful prayer to get closer to God. Are you struggling with your relationship with God? Have you been finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a stable and healthy relationship with the Father? Sometimes you are there doing the bidding of the Father and other times you are already succumbing to the lust of your flesh.
Some of you can stay holy for some time, and another time you are already wallowing in the toxicity of sin and iniquities. A demon has been coronated over you. While you strive to maintain a stable relationship with God, prayer can be a powerful tool to help you get closer to Him. Powerful prayer to draw closer to God can open your heart and mind to God. It can remove the veil on your heart and allow the spirit of God to find true expression through you.

When you pray these prayers seriously, you won’t struggle for the presence of God. Many believers are like King Saul. They were faithful until sin came in. The entrance of sin created a gap between God and King Saul. And the scripture recorded that Saul no longer enjoyed the presence of God as he used to.
It got to a time that he had to invite David to play him spirit-lifting songs so he can feel the presence of God. Another time he invoked the spirit of Samuel to help him talk to God. This was a man that has once prophesied and had it come to pass. When we wallow in sin, it hinders the presence of God from finding expression through us. I decree by the authority of heaven, every sin in your life stopping the spirit of God from finding expression through you, I destroy such spirits today in the name of Jesus Christ.

- Oh Lord my God, the one who is, who was and who is to come, the maker of heaven and earth, my gracious God who created me in His own image and after His own likeness I declare my love for you Lord. I love you so much Lord Jesus for your mercy have never failed me and you always come through for me in all areas.
- Help me Lord Jesus to love you with the whole of me. I want to know you more and more. Help me to fall helplessly in love with you that people will see me and see God.
- I want you to be my standard. Jesus you’re more than enough for me. Take my life and let it be more concentrated unto you. Take my moments and my days let them flow in ceaseless praise.
- Lord Jesus stir my desire to love you more, to pray more, to talk to you more, to went to communicate with you more. Raise your altar in me so that I will continually burn for you and will tarry in your presence and bear forth good result.I want to know you Lord Jesus and the power that raised you from the dead.Philippians 3:10: “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.”
- Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:12, KJV)
- Help me Lord Jesus to attain all that you’ve apprehended me for Lord Jesus. Help me to walk blamelessly with you and be makes perfect in you.
- Save me Lord Jesus from flesh that wants to take control of my spiritual mind and corrupt me, cleanse my heart so that I can accommodate you fully in me.
- Help me to please you always so that I can make you happy and the world will see me and the the work of my father in Heaven.
- John 17 vs 3 to 5 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. I want to know more of You Lord Jesus. Glorify me and help me to attain what you want me to.
- Help me Lord Jesus I will win more kingdom souls for you, the world will read me and will be changed, the world will hear from the wisdom you’ve given me and they will repent.
- I’m thirsty for you Lord Jesus fill me up till I overflow and grant me strength and empower me to share to others so that they can also enjoy from the merits of serving the Lord.
- My desire is to serve you until my last breath, give me the strength to keep going and moving forward, don’t let me get weary and tired in Jesus name.
- I want to know you more Lord Jesus. Empower me when I’m starting to get tired, strengthen me when I can no longer push myself forward.
- Help me until the end Lord Jesus and do not let me fall by the way side. Help me to be recognized by you when I get to heaven so that I can enjoy eternal life and rest in Christ Jesus.
- Make my coming to earth full of impact and inspiration. Thank you Jesus for answered prayers. Amen.
