Today we will be dealing with 30 Intercessory Prayers for the Sick and Suffering. If you are sick or someone close to you is, your concern will be on finding healing and peace. While you may turn to medication for treatment, prayer is also a solution. Some sicknesses are not orthopedic or contagious. You contacted them from the realm of the spirit and healings of that sickness must also come from the realm of the spirit.
We owe ourselves a duty of prayer. As believers, we have been commissioned into the intercessory ministry. That’s why the scripture said in the book of James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.

Intercessory Prayers for the sick mean praying on behalf of a sick person. The person might not be able to pray due to the sickness. But you as a believer will raise an altar of prayer for that person. For everyone struggling with pain, I decree by the authority of heaven, that pain is taken away in the name of Jesus Christ. For it has been written, Christ has taken upon himself all our infirmities and he has healed all our diseases. Again, I speak as an oracle of God, For every disease in your body, I command healing upon them in the name of Jesus Christ.
If you have anyone that is sick or suffering from one pain or another, we will be fishing out general intercessions for the sick. Every cause of suffering in your life is taken away in the name of Jesus Christ. Christ has suffered so that you will not suffer, he was beaten for your sake so that you may not know pain. I decree by the authority of heaven, your sufferings are over today in the name of Jesus Christ.
Intercessory Prayers For The Sick
- Lord Jesus, blessed be your name for you to reign forever. Thanks for the gift of life and the gift of your healing that is about to descend upon me
- Lord, I pray for my friend ( mention the name ) today. In any his sins might serve as hindrances before me and my prayers today I pray and ask that you forgive him and wash away his sins completely in Jesus name.
- Lord I pray against any power assigned to frustrate his health, I destroy them in Jesus Mighty precious name.
- Any sickness that wants to bring him down and render me useless I destroy them in Jesus name
- Any sickness that wants to take away his strength and make him powerless that will bring separation between him and God I destroy them in Jesus name
- Every power that wants to terminate his life I destroy your power by the blood of Jesus
- I nullify every long term diseases and strange illness in his body in Jesus name
- Any power that wants him to die untimely I destroy them by the power of the holy ghost in Jesus name
- I decree and declare that he’s healed of every diseases in Jesus name
- I send back to the send every arrow of death, stroke, sickness and disease in Jesus name
- I flushed out every arrow of sickness that has been fired into his bloodstream in Jesus name
- Any power that wants to render him powerless and sick I command them to die in Jesus name
- I reject sickness and it’s manipulations over his life in Jesus name
- Any power that wants to render his medications useless I command them to die in Jesus name
- Blood of Jesus heal him completely in Jesus name
- I decree that he’s made whole by God’s stripes in Jesus name
- I prophesy that his deteriorating health hear the word of the Lord, be restored back I Jesus name
- Untimely death is not his portion in Jesus name
- I cancel every negative doctor’s report over his life in Jesus name. Good news is mine henceforth in name
- Any power assigned to destroy his health, die by fire in Jesus name
- Any power that has been assigned to trouble him, frustrate him over his body, I render you all useless in Jesus name.
- I reject sickness and disease in his body. I come against them by the blood of Jesus in Jesus name
- Lord deliver him from every inherited disease and sickness in Jesus name
- I pray lord Jesus that you heal him from every generational curses that has brought sickness to his life and making me unhappy
- I cast out all the spirits of infirmities that are attacking his body and making him sick in Jesus name
- I destroy every agent of darkness causing his sickness in Jesus name
- Every dead organ in his body receive life in Jesus name
- Lord Jesus, my brother receive the blood of Jesus that will wash away every bad blood in his organ and system in Jesus name
- I break him free from all sorts of sickness that might want to destroy him in Jesus Mighty precious name.
- I break him free from high cholesterol that is rooted in anger and hostility and commanded these spirits to come out in the name of Jesus.
- I lose him from a weakened immune system that is rooted in a broken spirit or broken heart, and I command these spirits to come out in the name of Jesus.
- I stand on the rock of ages and declare that no sickness shall have power over him henceforth in Jesus name.
- I decree and declare that his body is the temple of God. Every evil spirit causing sickness and dwelling in his body ,just has Jesus sent out the buyers and sellers in His temple, I send you all out of his body by the power of Jesus in Jesus name.
- I decree that his body has been sanitized by the blood of Jesus.
- I decree that his afflictions shall rise no more in Jesus name.
- I decree that he’s made whole and good health is restored back to me in Jesus name
- Whatever is the sickness he’s dealing with is I command them to be destroyed and never to heard of again in Jesus name.
- I cover myself with the blood of Jesus. Every arrow of affliction sent to his life is destroyed in Jesus name.
- Thanks Lord Jesus for listening to his prayers and restoring good health back to him once again.
- Thank you Jesus for always listening to me all the time.
- Thank you the King of kings, ancients of days.
- Thank you glorious God for his speedy answers and recovery, all glory, Honor, and adoration belongs to you and you alone.
