Here are some reasons why night vigil is highly important in our lives as Christians.
We Are Watchmen
Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand on my guard post. And station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, And how I may reply when I am reproved.
Christians are watchmen. We are soldiers. We are prophets. We are priests. We are the mouthpiece of God to the people. So as a watchman, we are not expected to be sleeping on duty. When a watchman sleeps, the lives and properties of the people is at great risk. Our adversary the devil roams about like a wounded lion looking for whom to devour.
Prayer Is More Effective
The spiritual frequency is unwavering in the midnight. We are closer to the heaven at this time because most people are sleeping. The serenity we enjoy at night is top notch. At this time we are able to concentrate better and channel our energy into talking with God. It is a counter every evil attack the enemy has launched against us.
The midnight is a perfect time to design our day. We can talk to God, tell him our complains and worry and fear.

- I thank you Oh Lord Jesus Christ for my debt you paid on the cross of calvary even before I was conceived in mother’s womb. Thank you my Lord for the sinless blood you shed for all man kind so that we may be saved

- In the name of Jesus, I speak to the east, west, north and south; Everywhere my favour is, in the name of Jesus, I command it to my life now.
- In the name of Jesus, every gate closing against my destiny, be open now!.
- Lord any man that sees my face, let that anointing for favour be activated. Their contact with my face will command favour. Access to the heart of kings and nobles.
- Lord begin to exalt me by your mantle of favour.
- Lord I open the gates of my destiny to favour. All kinds of people, even strangers.
- Lord by favour, I receive restoration.
Call those things that are supposed to be in your destiny. Call them to appear by the mantle of favour. - Lord every destiny helper that has left my life before must appear in my destiny again.
- (Call someone’s name) By the power mandated upon my life, I call forth favour upon your life.
- (Walk around) As I walk upon this ground, wherever my helper is, I call you by prophecy, come into my life.
- Wherever they are, I use the Earth as a token of prophecy, locate my helper, spiritual, financial etc.
Oh Earth, hear the Word of the Lord; - I have a covenant of peace. Every business and helper upon the ground, be at peace with me and my destiny. Everywhere you see me, answer to me. No longer will resources run away from me, they come to me in abundance.
- Every signature of hardship and misfortune this year is buried. It comes to an end in Jesus name.
- By the mantle of favour, any man who sees me must desire to help and bless me.Everything dying in my hands, jack back to life in the name of Jesus.
- I receive the Grace that makes men accomplish so much within short time. That favour will bring speed to my life in Jesus name.
