1 Corinthians 13:11:
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Every healthy child is a growing child. One of the major characteristics of a living thing is growth. If you are not growing, it means you are dying. As a child of God, its not enough to be born again, we must desire to grow in our salvation. Today we shall be engaging in powerful prayer points for spiritual growth. Spiritual growth is defined as the spiritual energy we need for growth. Just like every new born baby needs to be properly fed for strength and growth, that is how every child of God also needs to be feed spiritually for spiritual strength and growth.

If you are not spiritually strong, you cannot last in the faith, you must learn to equip yourself spiritually in order to overcome the temptations of the devil. There are two ways to grow in strength as a child of God, they are: The Word, and Prayers. We are going to be examining these two ways shortly:

Two Ways To Spiritual Growth.

1). The Word Of God: 1 Peter 2:2 , tells us that as new born babies, we must desire the sincere milk of the word of God, in order to grow in our salvation. The word of God is your spiritual food as a child of God if you desire spiritual growth, you must feed on the word of God daily. Just like a baby will be malnourished if he or she is not properly fed, you also will be malnourished spiritually if you do not feed on the word of God. The word of God is the balance diet for the soul, without it you cannot experience spiritual growth.

But how do you feed on the word of God? Simple you feed on the word of God through the following ways:

A). Daily Bible Study
B). Reading Christian Literatures
C). Listening To A Sermon
D). Attending Church Regularly
E). Putting The Word To Work In Your Life

2). Prayers: Jesus speaking in Luke 18:1 , he said we should pray always and not faint. If the word is the food for the soul, then prayers is the exercise for the soul. Every time we pray we exercise our spirit man. Eating always without exercising will not make you fit, the same way studying the word without prayers will still keep you waek spiritually. We must pray always it takes prayers to overcome the temptations of the devil. Prayer is very vital in our spiritual walk with God, that is why I have compiled over 100 powerful prayer points for spiritual growth.
