Prayer Against Sickness Bible Verses

Today we are dealing with prayer against sickness bible verse. Sickness is not a friend to the body. It weakens man as it render the entire body useless. When we are sick, as much as we sort after medical care for treatment, it is also imperative that we seek the corridor of spirituality. Prayer for divine healing can bring healing to whatever medical challenge that we have. There are also instances when the enemy inflict us with sicknesses, in cases like prayer against sickness is our valid antidote.

When praying against sickness, it is important that we pray using the scripture. Good health is a promise to us from God. And the scripture made us understand that though heaven and earth May Passover, but none of His word will go void unless it has fulfilled the purpose for which it was sent. So when we pray against sickness, it is safe to pray with Bible verses of God promising us strength and life with pain and infirmity. Praying with Bible verses strengthen our prayer.

Prayer Against Sickness Bible Verses

• 1 Peter 2:21-24 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
• 2. Isaiah 53:1-10 Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. • Luke 5:17 On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with him to heal.
