20 Deliverance Prayers For Pastors

2 Thessalonians 3:1-5:
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: 2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. 5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

The calling of a pastor is a high calling, and it takes the grace of God to fulfill your calling as a pastor. Every pastor has a responsibility from God to care for the sheep ( God’s people) to feed them with the word and to pray for them always. But why we are all familiar with the fact that pastors pray always for the sheep of God under there care, we fail to realize that pastors need prayers also. As a matter of fact, pastors needs prayers more than the members. This is because, when the shepherd is attacked,the sheep flees, Zechariah 13:7. Today I have compiled 30 deliverance prayers for pastors, every pastor need to have members who always will stand in the gap and travail in prayers for the deliverance of there pastors.

But why do we need to pray for our pastors?
Firstly we must understand that the devils numbers one target is to get our pastors to fall into sin, he knows that if he can get the head, the body will follow, because the brain that controls the body is in the head. Therefore in praying this deliverance prayers for pastors, we must pray that our pastors not fall into error temptations or sin. We must pray that God will continue to hold them up by His grace.

Secondly we must pray continually for the outbreak of revelation through our pastors. Let God continue to endow them with fresh knowledge of His word so that they will continue to encourage the saints and build them towards the perfection of Christ.

Thirdly we must pray for boldness and utterances to speak the word of God fearlessly in the midst of oppossition, let the word of God through them have free course and be unhindered by the forces of darkness.

Fourthly we must pray that God should honor and confirm there words with signs and wonders, massive salvation of souls and divers healings and deliverances. This will inevitably lead to the establishment of multitudes in the faith.

Last but not the least, we must continue to pray for there families,their wives and children, the the grace of God keep them, that God provide for them in all areas and we should also endeavor to bless them materially even as we pray for them
When we pray for our pastors like this,we see that the hand of God upon their lives will continue to increase. I believe that as you engage in these de!iverance prayers for pastors I see God doing great things through the five to!d ministries in these last days in Jesus name.

6. Every yoke, working against spiritual growth of our pastors, break, in the name of Jesus.

7. By the power of God, the enemy will not make our pastors a bad example, in the name of Jesus.

8. Every destructive habit, designed to waste calling of our pastors must, die, in the name of Jesus.

9. Power to finish well, come upon our pastors, in the name of Jesus.

10. Every area of incomplete deliverance in the life of our pastors, receive complete deliverance by fire, in the name of Jesus.

11. Every spiritual cataract, clear away from the vision of our pastors, in the name of Jesus.

12. Every spirit of slumber, in the lives of our pastors be destroyed now!!! In the name of Jesus.

13. Father, I cover all our pastors and ministers with the blood of Jesus.

14. Every anti-ministry arrow, fired in the direction of our pastors,, backfire, in Jesus’ name.

15. Holy Ghost fire, destroy all works of darkness in the life of our pastors in Jesus’ name.

16. Every door, opened to the enemy of the calling of our pastors, be closed, in Jesus’ name.

17. My Father and my God, let the waters of life flow into every dead area of the spiritual life of our pastors in the name of Jesus.

18. Every weapon, fashioned against our pastors, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

19. Any foundational serpent and scorpion, programmed into the lives and ministries of our pastors be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

20. O God of all grace, endue our pastors with fresh grace for this great work in the name of Jesus.
