PRAYER FOR THE NATION OF ZAMBIA

Today we shall be engaging in prayer for the nation of Zambia. Lusaka being her capital city and most populated cities in Zambia. Zambia is one of the African countries located in the Southern part of the African continent.
It shares boarder with Tanzania to the north-east, Malawi to the east, Mozambique to the southeast and Democratic Republic of Congo to the north. The entire population of Zambia is about seventeen million people based on the last census held in 2016.

Judging from that, it is glaring that the population of the country is not a large one, hence, whatever the country produces should be able to cater and sustain her people. If that was the case, then we would have worried a little about Zambia and her populace.
However, despite small population density, the nation still live in extreme poverty. It is worthy of note that Zambia economy is based on exportation of mines, which takes more than 70 percent of the revenue. Meanwhile, more than 90 percent of her populace are living in the rural area characterised by unpleasant and old farming tool.

The people residing in the rural part of Zambia only engage in agriculture, they live in a world that has been secluded from the treasury bank of the nation. Heavily faced with starvation and malnutrition, lack of basic health amenities which has rudely increased the child mortality rate. Also, HIV and AIDS, Malaria among others are also one of the biggest killer of people in Zambia.
There is no gainsaying that the people of Zambia are living below the standard of God for their lives. The scripture (Jeremiah 29:11) made us to understand that God loves us and He have a good plan for us. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.

So when we notice that we are living below the standard or plan of God for our lives, the best is to speak to God. It has become important that we say a prayer for the nation of Zambia.

WHY YOU SHOULD PRAY FOR ZAMBIA

One important reason why you and I should pray for the nation of Zambia is because God wishes to save the nation. It was never in the plan of God to forsake any nation, it was never in the agenda of God to abandon any nation. But He (God) wants one man to stand in gap for the nation. God is trying to make a priest out of each and everyone of us. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.

PRAY FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA

This has always been one of the greatest challenges we face in Africa. Many people believe they don’t owe the government a duty of prayer. They believe the government officials are selfish enough and they are just in that position to loot public funds and impoverish their citizens.
But on the contrary, we have witnessed a good man turn into beast immediately he stepped his foot into government office. Likewise, we have seen a man many people regarded as a beast or tyrant leader turn into a messiah that saved the people from their sufferings.

If you ask me, the difference between those two is Prayer. If any government will be successful in power, he must earn the goof prayers of the people he is governing. Many a time, we are the architect of our own misfortune. We are swift to condemning government officials whenever things go wrong. Whereas, we could have just changed the course of things in the realm of the spirit through prayers.

While praying for the nation of Zambia, remember to pray for the incumbent government that God should give them the wisdom to lead people in the right way.

PRAY FOR THE CITIZENS

United States of America is one of the top notch destinations of many people on earth. Many people dream of migrating to the country (USA) someday. United States is what it is today because of her great people.
If any nation will rise, if any nation will be great, it depends on the people of that nation. Prosperity always accompany peace and transquility. Wherever peace and transquility is, prosperity would not be far from there.
If the nation of Zambia will rise, the mentality of the people needs to change, the perception of the people must change, the people needs to be re-oriented. Hatred and bigotry will not solve one of the simplest problems that is facing the nation.

A prayer that God should make the people of Zambia understand the intricacies behind loving their neighbors. Prayers that God should give sight to people of Zambia who are visually impaired of success. Most of them believe that the life they are currently living is the best they can get, they need to get the vision of God for their lives.

PRAY FOR THE ECONOMY

The economy of any nation is it bedrock. Should anything negative happen to the economy, the people will pay dearly for it.
The economy of Zambia is crawling, the economy of Zambia has been crippled. It needs to receive a new wheel. While saying a prayer for the nation of Zambia, remember the economy, pray that God should give the leaders of that nation an idea that will revive the economy.

PRAY FOR THE CHURCH

There is no gainsaying that the religion segment of Zambia is dominantly posses by Christian. However, the real identity of Christ isn’t glaring in Zambia yet. The churches in Zambia needs to be up and doing in ensuring the people get freedom from the bondage of economical slavery.
Also, there needs to be real worshipper of God. The scripture made us understand that God rewards only those who have faith in Him and those that deligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.

Conclusively, it is our collective duty to watch and pray all the time for our nation and continent. Your prayer for the nation of Zambia today might save millions of generations yet to come.

11). Father, in the name of Jesus, hasten your vengeance upon the enemies of peace and progress of this nation and let the citizens of this nation be rescued from all the assaults of the wicked – Psalm. 94:1-2

12). Father, in the name of Jesus, recompense tribulation to all that trouble the peace and progress of this nation even as we pray now – 2 Thessalonians. 1:6

13). Father, in the name of Jesus, let every gang up against the continuous growth and expansion of the church of Christ in Zambia be crushed permanently – Matthew. 21:42

14). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the wickedness of the wicked against this nation come to an end even as we pray now – Psalm. 7:9

15). Father, in the name of Jesus, vent your anger upon all the perpetrators of wanton killings in this nation, as you rain up on all them fire, brimstone and a horrible tempest, thereby granting permanent rest to the citizens of this nation – Psalm. 7:11, Psalm11:5-6

16). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the rescue of Zambia from the powers of darkness contending against her destiny – Ephesians. 6:12

17). Father, in the name of Jesus, release your instruments of death and destruction against every agent of the devil set to destroy the glorious destiny of this nation – Psalm 7:13

18). Father, by the blood of Jesus, release your vengeance in the camp of the wicked and restore our lost glory as a nation. -Isaiah 63:4

19). Father in the name of Jesus, let every evil imagination of the wicked against this nation fall upon their own heads, resulting in the advancement of this nation – Psalm 7:9-16

42). Father, in the name of Jesus, deliver Zambia from the hands of corrupt leaders, thereby restoring the glory of this nation- Proverbs. 28:15

43). Father, in the name of Jesus, raise an army of God-fearing leaders in this nation, thereby restoring our dignity as a nation- Proverbs 14:34

44). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the fear of God saturate the length and breadth of this nation, thereby removing shame and reproach from our nations – Isaiah. 32:15-16

45). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn your hand against the adversaries of this nation, that are blocking the way forward to our economic growth and development as a nation – Psalm. 7:11,Proverbs 29:2

46). Father, in the name of Jesus, supernaturally restore the economy of this nation and let this land be filled with laughter again – Joel 2:25-26

47). Father, in the name of Jesus, bring an end to the economic woes of this nation thereby restoring her past glory – Proverbs 3:16

48). Father, in the name of Jesus, break the siege over this nation, thereby terminating our age-long political turmoils – Isaiah. 43:19

49). Father, in the name of Jesus, set this nation free from the scourge of unemployment by stirring waves of industrial revolution in the land -Psalm.144:12-15

50). Father, in the name of Jesus, raise political leaders in this nation that will usher Zambia into a New realm of glory- Isaiah. 61:4-5

53). Father, in the name of Jesus, let the zeal of the Lord continue to consume the hearts of Christians across this nation, thereby taking more territories for Christ in the land -John.2:17, John. 4:29

54). Father, in the name of Jesus, turn every church in this nation into a revival centre, thereby establishing dominion of the saints in the land – Micah. 4:1-2

55). Father, in the name of Jesus, destroy every force militating against the growth of the church in Zambia, thereby leading to further growth and expansion – Isaiah. 42:14

56). Father, in the name of Jesus. let the 2020 elections in Zambia be free and fair and let it be void of election violence all through – Job 34:29

57). Father, in the name of Jesus, scatter every agenda of the devil to frustrate the electoral process in the forthcoming elections in Zambia- Isaiah 8:9

58). Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree the destruction of every device of evil men to manipulate the 2020 elections in Zambia-Job 5:12

59). Father, in the name of Jesus, let there be hitch-free operations all through 2020 electoral process, thereby ensuring peace in the land- Ezekiel. 34:25

60). Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against every form of electoral malpractices in the forthcoming elections in Zambia, thereby averting post-election crisis – Deuteronomy. 32:4
