Prayer Points Against Accident

Today we will be dealing with prayer points against accident. Accident can be defined as an unexpected event with negative consequences occurring without the intention of the one suffering the consequences. Accident can be seen as a collision or similar unintended event that causes damage or death.

According to the definition above, we can agree that accident is something evil and unexpected. Accident can happen in different forms. We have car accident,road accident, fire outbreak, flood, medical negligence, etc. Some examples of physical accidents include kicking your feet against a chair, mistakenly pouring hot water on one’s leg, slipping on the floor, bitting ones tongue while eating, etc

Accident sometimes happen as a result of our negligence, inattention, unsafe conduct, improper training, inexperience ignorance and laziness. Accident can cause damage, injury, loss of life and prosperity , sickness and sometimes death. Accidents can happen at work, school, home, etc Examples of accidents that happens at home includes: falling objects, trips and fall, cuts, burns, burning etc.Hence, the need for a first aid box at home.

Effects of accidents

Accidents can be traumatizing. You’re never truly prepared for the emotional and physical accident after effects. After an accident, recovery usually begins to occur once medical attention has been sought.
However, the effects of some accidents may be long lasting, while some can leave almost immediately.
The effects of accidents includes:

Emotional Effect

Some injuries are not immediately apparent after an accident, but regardless of when an injury first appears, it can have a long-term effect. One of the areas in which accident injuries typically are long lasting is those related to psychological or emotional trauma.

The mental and emotional injuries after a car accident can include mental anguish, emotional distress, fear, anger, humiliation, anxiety, shock, embarrassment, random episodes of crying, loss of appetite, weight fluctuations, lack of energy, sexual dysfunction, mood swings, and sleep disturbances.

Physical Effects

The most severe physical injuries associated with accidents commonly include brain and head trauma such as a traumatic brain injury, neck injuries such as whiplash, neck strains, or disk damage, and back or spine injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, or disk injuries.

Physical injuries that are associated with long-term effects are usually permanent disabilities such as amputations, paralysis, or TBI’s which create a diminished mental capacity, but soft tissue injuries that affect the tissue surrounding and connecting tendons, muscles, and ligaments are also usually long term.

Mental Effects

Some accidents happens which affects one mentally. It’s normal that during the healing process, one may begin to notice signs of increased stress such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, anguish, fearfulness, issues with sleep, reoccurring nightmares about the accident and more.

As believers we need to be very careful in our day to day activities in other to prevent accidents, especially accidents that can lead to death. Heaven helps those who helps themselves.

As much as we believe in God’s protection over us, we should also take safety measures. A typical example is the case of the second phase of Covid-19, as believers we should adhere strictly to the rules, part of which includes wearing face mask to the church and observing social distancing.

Irregardless of the forms of accidents, God is capable of saving you. He said in His word ‘Behold I am with you and I will keep you whenever you go (Gen 28:15) All we need do, is to put our daily activities and events into His hands.

Prayer points

• Father, I thank you for this exposition on accidents, be thou exaulted in Jesus name.
• Lord Jesus, order my footsteps from every form of accidents in Jesus name.
• I soak my belongings in your mighty blood in Jesus name.
• I subject every member of my family under your hands of protection in Jesus name.
• For He shall preserve my going out and my coming in Psalms 121;8
  Holy Spirit let your protection be sure over me.
• Help me to follow necessary safety precautions in Jesus name.
• Destroy every form of accidents in my way this year in Jesus name.
• I will never lose my belongings to fire in Jesus name.
• Everyone going through one pain or the other as a result of accident Father heal them on Lord.
• You are the greatest physician, heal every sick person just as you healed the woman with the issue of blood in Jesus name.
• You said in 2Chronicles 7:14 ‘Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land’
  Father restore our land in Jesus name
  Every arrow of accident and death shot against me be destroyed in Jesus name.
  We counted and no one is missing Num 31:49 This will forever be my testimony in Jesus name.
• I declare that with peace and good health, my family and I will scale through this yyin Jesus name.
• It is well with my spirit, soul and body in Jesus name.
• Just as the word of God in Psalms 118:17 I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord in Jesus precious name.
• My head will not habour evil of any kind in Jesus name.
• Any member of my family marked for accident is washed with the blood of Jesus.
• I will receive any news of negative occurrences in Jesus name.
• Thank you Jesus for answered prayers. In Jesus name I pray.
