Today we will be dealing with prayer points for business prosperity. When we do business, we do it solely to make a living out of it. Things become terrible when our efforts are not yielding to success. God’s intention for our lives as believers is to subdue the earth. He gave us the charge to do business until he is back. Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. This was a parable by Jesus while he was teaching on his way to Jerusalem.

God wants us to dominate till he returns the second time. For the purpose of this article, we will highlight some of the things that would necessitate business prosperity for every individual.
Things To Do For Business Prosperity
Do Not Rely on Your Mortal Knowledge
The scripture made us know that every good idea comes from the Lord. More times than not, we will need to deal with competition in our businesses. Meanwhile, many people rely solely on their human experience forgetting that by strength shall no man prevail.
We will always need a pearl of divine wisdom to deal with business things. We will always need the wisdom of God to devise a working strategy that would give us leverage over our competition. The scripture says, if any man lack wisdom let him ask from God that gives liberally without blemish. Instead of relying on your mortal knowledge, pray to God for knowledge.
Work Hard
Yes, being a believer doesn’t change the protocol of prosperity that has been laid by God. Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
We have the grace of God over our lives, however, that doesn’t take away the place of hard work. The scripture says a man deligent in his works will stand before kings and not mere men. Be deligent in your work.
Do Not Rely on Human Strength
Most times we equate efforts with success. This is not to say that hard work is not needed. Work hard, but also remember the scripture says it is not of he that willeth and runneth but of God that sheweth mercy.
Work smart by asking for God’s mercy as you work deligently. The best is yet to come in that business and you will acheived through the mercy of the Most High.
Pay Your Tithe
One of the most popular verses in the Bible is Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Meanwhile many people often misconstrue this bible passage.
Paying the tithe is a covenanted procedure to prosperity. Ensure you pay tithes from the proceeds you make from your business. The blessings of Jehovah will be on that business.
However, some people won’t still have business prosperity even after doing all the points that was listed above. That means there is something wrong somewhere. This needs prayers. Before we pray, let’s take a look at some of the hindering factors that could neccessitate business failures.
Why Christian Businesses Fail
Lack of Effort
One of the biggest misconception that most Christians have is that things will naturally become easy for them because they are Christians. This is a wrong perception that should be corrected as soon as possible.
Many Christians will pray from night till the following morning and when the day comes, they sleep all day expecting miracles to happen. The Lord will not bless an empty hands, the scripture promise that the Lord will bless the works of our hands.
You didn’t get a job and you are expecting the blessings of the Lord, God is not a magician, get up today and right the wrong that has been affecting you for years.
Sin
This is the biggest limiting factor to the prosperity of most believers. The scripture emphasize that we can’t continue to be in sin and ask that grace abounds.
The children of Isreal were left to wallow in the toxic of slavery for years because of their sinful ways. Until they changed their ways and return to God, nothing good happened to them. Commit your business to the hands of God and desist from sin.
Prayer Points
- Lord Jesus, I thank you for another grace to see a new day. Lord may your name be highly exalted.
- Father Lord, I commit my business in your hands, I decree that the grace to prosper is released upon me in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, I pray that you will grant me the spirit of excellence, such that was released upon Daniel that made him ten times better than his contemporaries, I pray for this grace in the name of Jesus.
- I come against every form of devourer in my ways. Every devourer taking away my blessings, I destroy them by the power of the holy ghost in the name of Jesus.
- Lord, the scripture says it is not of he that willeth or runneth but of God that shew mercy. I pray for your mercy over my business, let your mercy project my business to the next level in the name of Jesus.
- I seek for the ideas to be different, the idea to rule the world, I pray that you release it upon me in the name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, I speak as an oracle of the Most High, I speak my prosperity into a reality in the name of Jesus.
- The scripture says you teach our hands to make wealth. Lord, over my business, I pray for the power to make wealth abundantly, Lord endow it upon me in the name of Jesus.
- Father Lord, I seek for grace such that was released unto Isaac that he sowed in the land and reap bountifully the same year, in the name of Jesus.
- Lord God, my testimony is certain this year. Over my business, my prosperity will not be hindered in the name of Jesus.
- I plead for mercy, in every way that sin has been hindering my business prosperity, Lord have mercy in the name of Jesus.
