Today we will be dealing with prayer points to pray when you are worried. Worry is a bad psychological state of mind that creates fear, anger or unsatisfaction about a thing, problem or potential problem. It is a bad thing to be worried, it doesn’t make one see solution coming. Worry is a thief of joy. A worried man will only be anxious, angry, afraid, he will not know any happiness.
Elijah was a biblical figure that became worried at one point in time. As stated earlier, when you worry too much, it creates the problem that doesn’t exist in the first place. Elijah, even after exhibiting great spiritual confidence in front of Baals prophet still went into hiding after he was threatened by Jezebel. Elijah became so worn out that he wanted death to come for him. He didn’t even remember or realise God is able to solve his mysteries when he prayed to God to take his life in the book of 1 Kings 19:4 I have had enough Lord, he said. Take my life, I am not better than my ancestors.
Job was another man that battles depression because of his great loss. He had lost everything he worked for within the twinkle of eyes. His empire was reduced to dust and he was laced with terrible sickness. Job was so fraustrated that he asked God why He has kept him up until this time just to allow him live a miserable life. Job 3:11 Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb?” This is the story of a man that is worried because of his present condition. He was quick to have forgotten that all he had was with the help of God and that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly far beyond what the human mind can conceive.
If you are worried about something, it is not enough to sit back and expect the end to come. You should raise an altar of prayer against everything that is making you worried. I decree by the authority of heaven, everything that is causing tears to run down your cheek, God will take it away in Jesus name.

Prayer Points:
- Lord Jesus, I thank you for the grace that you have bestowed on me to see a new day. I thank you for your blessing and provision over my life, Lord let your name be exalted in Jesus name.
- Lord, I commit my life into your hands, I pray that you will help me in Jesus name. In every areas of my life that needs help, I pray that help is released for me in Jesus name. I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where will my help come? My help will come from God the maker of heaven and earth. Lord I pray that you send help to me in Jesus name.
- Father Lord, I pray that every situation that brings tears to my eyes, I pray that you will bring solution to them in Jesus name. Lord, I pray that you will teach me to always see you in the face of trouble and challenges. I refuse to let my problem becomes too big that I won’t recognize your power anymore. Teach me to always see you bigger than my problems in JESUS name.
- Lord Jesus, I pray that your right hand that wrath wonders will find me from the pit of trouble that I have been thrown into. I pray that your right hand will save me in the name of Jesus.
- Lord Jesus, the scripture says be worry for nothing, but in everything through supplication, prayers and thanks giving, make your request known to God. I pray Lord Jesus that you will take aways anxiety from me. I come against the spirit of fear inside of me in Jesus name.
- Lord, I pray for Supernatural healing for my derailing health. Your word says you have carry upon yourself all our infirmities and you have healed all our diseases. I decree healings in the name of Jesus.
- Lord JESUS, I pray for the grace to always trust in you, Lord release it to me in the name of Jesus. For it has been written, Fear not for I am with you, do not be dismay for I am thy God. I pray for supernatural, Lord release it unto me in the name of Jesus.
- Your word has promised me peace. The scripture says Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. I refuse to be troubled in Jesus name.
- For it has been written, for God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind, I’m not worried in Jesus name. I pray that your comfort will come upon me, even in the multitude of thoughts running through my mind in Jesus name.
- Lord, I put my trust in you, I will not be put to shame. Even though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I fear no harm, for you are with me, your rod and staff they comfort me. I pray for comfort in all ramification of life, Lord give it to me in Jesus name.
- You have promised in your word that you are with me. I refuse to be worry for nothing in Jesus name. My pain is gone is Jesus name, my anxiety is dissolved by the precious blood of Christ, my fear is taken away by the power in the name of Jesus.
- For your word has promised that you will save me. I pray that in my turbulent moment, your hands will save me. When I walk through the waters of life, I pray that you shall be with me. When my back hit the wall and all hope is crashing, I pray that you will be my refuge in Jesus name.
