Prayer Points For Courage When You Are Afraid

Today we will be dealing with prayer points for courage when afraid. Fear is no doubt one of the common enemies of man. It is a feeling that starts from the heart and affects all parts of the body simultaneously. When fear occurs, you lose every strength or courage that is left inside of you. Fear is a thing of the mind. The ear, sight and feel control the mind. That’s why sometimes, the sight of something can create fear. You can be afraid as a result of the things you hear or feel.

When fear creeps in, it blinds the sight of a man. You lose consciousness that there is God who has promised to be with you in every situation. The scripture said in the book of Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with my right hand of righteousness. Do not be afraid, for I’m with you, do not be dismay for I’m your God. One of the ways fear can be eradicated in the mind of an individual is by knowing God.

Have you studied the attitude of young children when they know that their parents are around? The level of courage and fearlessness they exhibit is second to none. However, when they know that there are parents are not close, they tend to exhibit fear. That’s how our life is. When we feel God is closer, we are courageous, but when we lose sight of God, the enemy will capitalize on this and create terrible fear in our hearts.

When speaking about courageous people, Joshua is one of them. He was courageous to a fault that even the angel of the lord doesn’t scare him. Joshua 5:13-14 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for our adversaries or for us?” So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” The Bible says those that know their God shall be strong, and they shall do exploit.

If a man is to fulfill his purpose in life, the spirit of fear must be defeated. It hinders a man from living a purposeful life. As a matter of fact, it is capable of taking a man away from the presence of God. When a problem happens, out of fear, a man begins to run from pillar to post in search of a solution. Fear must be defeated.

Prayer Points:

• Lord, the Bible said God has not given us the spirit of fear but adoption to cry Ahba father. I decree by the authority of heaven every spirit of fear in me is destroyed in the name of Jesus.
• Fear is not of the Lord, and the Bible has made me to understand that any tree that is not planted by the father shall be uprooted. I decree by the power in the name of Jesus, every tree of fear in life is uprooted today.
• I pray for courage from the love. You said you have not given us the spirit of fear. I pray by the mercy of the most High, the spirit of courage replace fear in my heart in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every sight that makes be scared, I overcome you today in the name of Jesus. Every terror of the night that inflict fear into my heart, I decree that you are destroyed today in the name of Jesus.
• It has been written, do not be afraid because I’m thy God, do not be dismay because I’m with you. I refuse to be afraid anymore. Every arrow of fear that has been shot into my life, catch fire today in the name of Jesus.
• I take control of my environment in the name of Jesus. Every power, every principality that goes about in the midst of darkness to bring terror in order to create fear, die today in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I take back my environment from every demonic power, every power that torment the people of God with fear, you shall have no power over my territory today in the name of Jesus.
• I decree by that the authority of heaven, the angel of the lord shall take charge of environment. I ask that the angels of the plenty in power and might will take charge even as I sleep tonight. Every element of fear that the enemy has placed hidden in my environment is uprooted today in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, every demon that is inflicting my life with fear to take away the peace that you have given me, your end has come today in the name of Jesus. I decree your end today in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, every fear of uncertainty, every fear of failure is destroyed in the name of Jesus. I know a man that hold tommorow, the whose hands champions the destiny of every man, he is name is Jesus Christ. My destiny is in His hands, so I’m not afraid of tommorow.
• Every demonic alliance that has been made concerning me, I break their agreement today in the name of Jesus. I pray that the hands of God will go into their midst and create confusion today in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, I have been inflicted with fearful dreams, I pray that by your mercy you will destroy every demon that has continued to inflict my sleep with evil dreams in the name of Jesus.
• The scripture said For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I’m not afraid in Jesus name. Every atom of fear, every demon of fear in me is subdued by the power of the holy ghost.
