Today we will be dealing with prayer points for uncommon divine favor and blessing. 2 Samuel 6:11 The ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. Not all blessings are common. The type of blessing that Obed-Edom enjoyed was nothing close to common. The scripture recorded how the ark of covenant became a thing of fear for King David and his stewards after the angel of the Lord strike Uzzah dead when he tried to stop the ark from falling. After this ugly event, king David was bittered. He would not allow the ark of the covenant to be brought into the palace because he feared the devil that might happen.
King David ordered that the ark of the covenant be taken to the house of Obed-Edom. Everyone knew that Obed-Edom was a pauper and his death will not mean much in the nation, so the ark was taken to the house of Obed-Edom. However, instead of death, he was greatly blessed within three months. That’s a typical example of a divine uncommon blessing.

Let’s give another instance to explain uncommon divine favor. No one enters the court of the king unless the king has invited them. The Jews were not treated right and Esther wanted to fight for her people especially her niece, Mordecai. She told her people to pray for her as she make her way into the king’s court. Meanwhile whoever enters the king’s court without an invite will be executed. But the Lord caused Esther to find favor in the sight of the king and instead of death, she was greatly honored. Esther 5:2 When the king saw Queen Esther standing in the courtyard, she won his favor, and the king extended to Esther the gold scepter that he was holding. Esther approached and touched the top of the scepter.
The Lord is still in the business of blessing people. He wants to unleash his blessing upon his people. I pray that as many people reading this blog you shall be highly favored this year in the name of Jesus Christ. In that life-threatening situation, you shall find favor in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord shall bless you greatly and increase your capacity in the name of Jesus Christ.

- Father, I thank you for your blessing upon my life. I thank you for your protection, I magnify you for your mercy. It is by the mercy of the Lord that we are not consumed. I thank you Lord for your faithfulness, may your name be highly exalted in the name of Jesus Christ.

- Father, I pray that you will enlarge my coast. The blessing of the Lord that eliminates stress, I pray that you release it upon me today in the name of Jesus Christ.
- For it has been written, But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Lord, I put my trust in you do not let me be put to shame. I pray that you will bless me abundantly in the name of Jesus Christ.

You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Father, I claim the promise in this scripture in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree the quick manifestation of these words in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Father, I pray that you shall encompass my life with your favor in the name of Jesus Christ. I come against struggle, I come against delay, I come against backwardness in the name of Jesus Christ.
