Today we will be dealing with prayer points against powers prolonging infirmity. When we pray to God to take away our infirmity, some powers of darkness will want to prolong that Infirmity. They do this by ensuring that our prayers don’t get answers or by hindering our answered prayers. Daniel experienced something similar. After he had prayed to God day and night and it was finally time for his prayers to be answered. Behold, the ruler of Darkness, the Prince of Persia had gone to hinder the angel of the Lord from bringing Daniel’s answered prayers. These powers also tried to prolong the infirmity in the life of Batholomew the blind man. When he was told that Jesus was passing, he cried out Lord calling the son of David to have mercy upon me.

The powers that wants his infirmity to be prolonged spoke through the multitude of people telling him to keep quiet. They do this just so Christ will not hear him, but the blind man persisted. The woman with an issue of blood also contended with and defeated this same demon. They tried to extend the longevity of her problem by ensuring that she doesn’t get the attention of Jesus. But this woman persisted through faith. Even if she couldn’t get close enough to attract Jesus’s attention, she is so certain that just by touching the tip of Christ’s garment, her infirmity will be taken away.

Today, we have to persist, today we have to build our faith to become stronger and better. Today we must defeat those demons limiting and hindering our answered prayers. I decree by the power in the name of Jesus Christ, every power trying to extend the lifespan of your problem, I decree they fall today in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord shall set you free from those powers today. Let us pray.

• Father Lord, every infirmity in my life, I decree that they are taken away in the name of Jesus Christ. Any power that wants to hinder this prayer to extend this Infirmity, I decree that the wrath of God come upon that power today in the name of Jesus Christ.
