Exodus 22:18 – 19 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Today we will be explaining 5 reasons your prayers are not effective against witchcraft. Witches are people who have set aside by the devil to be used as agent of sufferings and pain on the life of others. Some people willingly dedicate their lives to be evil while others were drag into it. Whatever reason is behind it, you must know that witchcraft is evil. Little wonder the scripture said in the book Exodus 22:18 – 19 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

You must get rid of the power of witchcraft in your life. The problem is not you do not want their reign to end over your life. And the problem is not that you have not been praying. The actual problem is that the more you pray against the influence of Witchcraft, the stronger their influence become over your life. Now you begin to wonder why your prayer is not effective against witchcraft.
There are several reasons why your prayers are not as effective as you want them to be.
5 Reasons Your Prayers Are Not Effective Against Witchcraft

Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
The word of God is the only thing that abides forever. Praying without the word of God backing your prayers, is protesting without knowing. The word of God carries the promises of God. When we pray using the word, we are just reminding God of His promises. He made us know that heaven and earth shall pass but none of His word will go unfulfilled.
It is the word of God that gives potency to your prayers. Just like in the court of law, you cannot plead your case without quoting relevant sections in the law book, the same way, you cannot see breakthrough in your prayer without quoting relevant scriptures from the bible.
For instance, as you are praying against the attack of witchcraft, remind God of His word in Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD. You challenge Him with His word and you will see The God of answered prayers in action. This is why prayer is not effective without adequate knowledge of the word of God. To be effective in prayers, you must spend time with the word so that you can discover strong reasons why your prayers must be answered.
Sin
Romans 6:1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace?
Sin is a primary reason why prayers are not answered. The scripture said we cannot continue to be in sin and ask that Grace should abound. When we pray with the name of Jesus, we draw the attention of God towards us. Meanwhile, the scripture said the face of God is too righteous to behold sin. So one reason why God may not be keen to answer us is our sin.
The eyes God is not blind to see neither is His hands to short to save us, but it is our sin that has created disparity between us and Him. While you pray against the influence or attack of witchcraft, beg for the forgiveness of sin. Do not harbor hate or bitterness in your heart. Go to the Lord with plain heart. No sinner can get to God successfully in prayers, and a sinner is someone who rejects Christ as His Lord and saviour. The solution to these reason, is Salvation.
Lack of Faith
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
The scripture says for without faith it is impossible to please God. Those that must come to him and believe that he is a rewarder of those that deligently seek Him. You must not go to God without faith. First, you must believe that He is powerful enough to rescue you from the power of witchcraft.
Faith is absolute dependency on God. Without faith, its impossible for God to answer your prayers. God is not a magician. Our faith puts him to work. As you pray against the influence of witchcraft, have faith that God has heard and answered. And as you end the prayer, begin to bask in the excitement of answered prayer. The enemy will try to invade your heart with doubts, do not allow it. Remember God is powerful to do exceedingly and abundantly according to his power within us.
Fear
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Fear is the opposite of faith. When faith is missing, fear creeps in. Faith tells you God is powerful, merciful and able to do, but fear tells you otherwise. And this will build doubt in you, doubts like what if God is unable to do it? And that’s exactly what the enemy wants.
The scripture said, God has not given us the spirit of fear but of sonship to cry Ahba Father. When fear starts building in your heart, call on Jesus. When the storm of life comes raging at you, call Jesus. When you are in the midst of fire designed by witches and wizards and soccerers, call on Jesus. Do not let the enemy win the war through your fear.
Remember Apostle Paul walked on water as long as his faith could carry him. The moment fear enter his heart, he began to sink. Fear is why your prayer against the power of Witchcraft is not effective.
