Today we will be dealing with deliverance prayers from the spirit of backwardness. You May think there is nothing like demon of backwardness until you are struck by one. You may constantly have dreams of you in primary school or your old house or generally about your old self. That’s spirit of backwardness lurking around you. This is not the time to think everything is normal. The spirit controls the physical so nothing will physically manifest unless it has been ignited from the realm of the spirit.

You may have the gift of speed in attaining levels in life. You may have gone farther in terms of achievement than your peers but when the spirit of Backwardness comes, it will first strip you off all the achievements you have had. Then it slows or stop your growth. That when you begin to see that you are now living in past glory. Those people you have behind you some years back would have gone farther. And the more you strive to catch up, the difficult it gets to keep up.

The spirit of backwardness can turn a leader to a follower. It can make a rich man poor within few years. And it is capable of turning a giver to a beggar. It is a demon that struck you with the opposite of everything that is good. Instead of you to be moving forward, it drags you back. When you are under the attack of this demon, the only thing that increases is your age. And it will continue to waste your time and effort unless it has been defeated.

I decree by the authority of heaven, every demon of Backwardness affecting your life, I stop their operations today in the name of Jesus Christ. I break their hold over you today and I declare you free from their captivity in the name of Jesus Christ.

Deliverance Prayers From The Spirit of Backwardness

• Father, I go to the root of every spirit of backwardness tormenting my life, I stop their operation over my life from the root in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• I decree by the power of heaven, I receive my dominance from every spirit that drag me back in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Every hereditary demon of delay and stagnation that has taken root in my family, I come against you today in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Every evil tongue that speaks backwardness into my life, I pray that such tongue catches fire right now in the name of Jesus. Every serpent of backwardness that has been sent into my life to trouble me, I pray that the anger of the Lord come upon you right now in the name of Jesus.
• Every power that has vowed to put me permanently to a particular spot, every power that has refused to let me grow in life, I come against you by the power in the name of Jesus. Every power that has refused to let me walk into my glory and destiny, I decree the fire of the most high upon you right now in the name of Jesus.
• From today I begin to bask in my freedom from every spirit of snail, every demon backwardness wasting my time in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Every evil dreamer whose dreams always put me glued to a particular spot, every evil dreamer whose dreams always tie me down to a spot, I pray that you die from sleep today in the name of Jesus.
• Every environmental power that has overcome the inhabitants of this environment and cause them to have a retarded growth, I pray that such power catch fire right now in the name of Jesus.
• You demon of backwardness that has inflicted me with stagnation, I destroy you today in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• Every giant in my father’s house that has vowed to chain me down to the village, I pray that as the dragon fell face flat before the ark of covenant, Lord, let such giant be destroyed before me in the name of Jesus.
• Every power of stagnation in my life, I pray you to catch fire right now in the name of Jesus. Every spirit from my father’s house or mother’s house that has afflicted with stagnation, I decree the vengeance of God upon you right now in the name of Jesus.
• I curse every covenant of stagnation working against my life today in the name of Jesus Christ.
• The book of Psalm reveals that when I call on the name of the Lord, my enemies will flee. Every enemy that is planning to hold down in Egypt, father Lord, cause your wrath to fall upon them right not in the name of Jesus.
• Every demonic cloth of backwardness that has been put on me by the enemy, I pray that such clothes catch fire right now in the name of Jesus. Every power that wants to disrupt my good news of success and breakthrough before I hear it begin to catch fire right now in the name of Jesus.
• Lord, I decree that you bless me with the grace of acceleration to run and overtake the years that has been wasted in the name of Jesus Christ. 
• For it has been written that by the anointing, every yoke shall be destroyed. I decree that the yoke of backwardness in my life is killed in the name of Jesus. Father Lord, I pray that you will anoint me for excellence and breakthrough, and you will destroy every power of backwardness in the name of Jesus.
• Every evil dream and vision of failure and impossibility, I destroy them in the name of Jesus. For the scripture made me understand that there is nothing impossible for you to do, I decree that I begin to move from strength to strength in the name of Jesus.
  
• I decree by the authority of heaven, every evil prophecy of backwardness in my life should be destroyed in the name of Jesus. I come against every covenant of backwardness in my life, because of the new covenant that was made eminent by the blood of Christ, I destroy such evil covenants in the name of Jesus.
