That’s the antics of the devil to destroy your spiritual life. The moment a believer start experiencing laxity in their prayer life, it is an indication that the enemy is at the verge of attack. Your spiritual life needs a revival. The fire upon the altar of your secret place must experience a great revival.
Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

The enemy knows that a Christian becomes vulnerable when his prayer life is destroyed. He knows that for a man to be protected, he must have an unhindered relationship with heaven, and that’s why the enemy will do everything it take to destroy that relationship between man and God. When the spiritual life of a Christian is sick, they will no longer hear from heaven. And when they can’t hear from heaven anymore, the enemy is not far from attacking. King Saul lost his touch with heaven and he was badly messed up. King Saul that used to commune with God started talking to Ghosts.
As believers we must always be at alert. And the only way we can be alert is when our spiritual senses are awakened. I pray against every laxity in your spiritual life, I decree that the power of God take it out today in the name of Jesus Christ. I decree that a new spiritual strength comes upon you this moment and in every ways that you are experience weakness, may the strength of God uphold you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Importance of Prayers For Spiritual Revival and Spiritual Awakening
- Prayers for Spiritual revival bring about spiritual strength. When our spiritual life is revived from cold, we become strengthened spiritually. This means we can’t be vulnerable to the attack of the enemy. Revival means bringing something back to life. When your spiritual life is returned to life, you don’t miss anything the heaven is saying.
- Another thing spiritual awakening does to us is protection from the attack of the enemy. When you are spiritually sensitive, you can sense an attack from afar even before it was launched at you.
- Lastly, being spiritually sensitive help you to fulfill the purpose of God for your life. God speak to us every time, but we can’t hear from God unless we are sensitive to the things of the spirit. Lack of spiritual sensitivity means we can’t hear or feel God anymore, even when God is speaking we will not know. Spiritual revival restore us to the original posture that God wants so we can fulfill His purpose on earth.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
Begin your prayer by saying a prayer or gratitude to God, think of all of His wonders, blessings, call Him sweets names like I AM that I AM, the one who is always around us whenever there is storm and always bringing peace when we are going through difficulties.
Confession
The Bible says can we continue to sin and expect grace to abound? Ofcourse the answer is “NO”. So to be spiritually filled, we need heavenly cleaning and this can be done by asking us to purge plus of all iniquities and uncleanliness.
Prayer to study the word of God;
Tell God you’re hungry for His visible presence in your life, you’re thirsty for Him. Show Him a sincere part of you that thirst and is hungry for righteousness. Ask God to ignite in you a passion for praying,craving God’s presence, studying and meditating on the word of God.
Prayer for revival
Ask for His intervention to bring revival in to your mundane life. Without the Holy Spirit we are nothing and except He fills our life with His presence before we can be blessed by Him and be spiritually revived. Ask for awakening from your spiritual slumber, ask for understanding of the word of God and ability to see and understand in depth of His word. The strength to continually dwell in God’s presence ask God to give it to you. The strength not to fall for the wiles and the deceits of the devil, ask God to give it to you.
Tell God to revive your heart, and give you deep hunger for His kingdom.
Rekindle of the fire of revival upon your prayer altar; many of us have been put into slumber and we find it difficult to pray to God, we need only the spiritual awakening of the Holy Spirit at this point, to help us ignite the fire upon our altar. Let’s ask God to re ignite the fire upon our altar that is dead already. We need the help of God so that we can be able to communicate with Him while praying.
Our altar is our secret prayer house, while the disciples waited and prayed to God, the Holy Spirit came upon them like a fire and they all started to speak in tongue and the inner spirit was revived by God. Once the fire of God comes upon our altar we will be motivated to pray as the holy spirit presence will be felt. Rev 3 vs 15 to 16, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
Passion and renewed and awakened heart for God; stir up a holy passion for you in my heart Lord Jesus, help me to love you wholeheartedly regardless of the situations. Transform me into a vessel that will bring glory and honor to your name. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, renew a right spirit within me so that I can fulfill your word which says “go ye into the world and win souls”
