Today we will be dealing with 30 Prayer Points Against Spirit of Infirmity. The spirit of infirmity refers to the physical, emotional, and spiritual afflictions that can manifest in sickness and weakness. Throughout scripture, we see evidence of this spirit oppressing individuals, but God promises healing and deliverance. By tapping into faith, prayer, and God’s promises, believers can overcome and find restoration.

 What is the Spirit of Infirmity?

In the Bible, the spirit of infirmity is mentioned in Luke 13:10-13, where Jesus encounters a woman who had been crippled by this spirit for 18 years. Her condition was not just a physical ailment but a spiritual affliction. Jesus, seeing her bound, declares, “Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity,” laying His hands on her and instantly healing her.

This example highlights that the spirit of infirmity doesn’t only affect the physical body, but it can bind a person spiritually, preventing them from fully walking in the abundant life Christ offers.

1. Luke 13:11-13 – And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, ‘Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity. – This scripture shows that Jesus recognizes and has authority over spiritual afflictions that manifest in physical sickness.

2. Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. – Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was not only for our salvation but also for our healing. The stripes He bore give us the right to pray and believe for healing from any form of infirmity.
