Prayer Points For Spiritual Growth And Maturity

Today we will be dealing with spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual growth and maturity is very important to us as believers. The essence of our creation is to have fellowship with God. However, that fellowship will not be possible if we do not grow spiritually. If our status in the realm of the spirit has not hit the stage of maturity, we will only continue to know God on the surface.

God entrust His identity to His trusted army. He shows Himself mightily to people who have the spiritual understanding of His being and nature. Until God saw that Moses was spiritually matured to an extent, God didn’t reveal himself to him. As Moses continue to grow in the understanding of God, the more continue to reveal himself to Moses.

We must set aside anything that may hinder our growth and spiritual maturity. We must focus on developing our spiritual capacity. Matthew 25:15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

The man that was given 10 talents has the capacity to manage those talents to ensure that it yields more result. God grant us access to Him according to the level of our Spiritual maturity. We must leave the level of baby to the level of adult Spiritual. I pray the mercy of the Most High, your spiritual life shall experience a great turn around in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Points For Spiritual Growth And Maturity

• Father Lord, there is nothing greater than you. There is nothing sweeter than your love for me. Because even when I was sinner and do not not deserve your love you still loved me. You sent your only begotten son to die for my sin. There is no love greater than this. Lord, I want your love to fill my heart. I want to know you more than I do presently. I want a more steady and consistent relationship with you, help me to know you more in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Father Lord, I want to leave the level of baby in the realm of the spirit, I want to reach the level of adult. I ask that you grant me the grace to grow in you in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, the scripture says for those that are led by the spirit of God, they are called the sons of God. I want to be led by your spirit. I want to be led by the power of the Holy Ghost, grant me your spirit in the and of Jesus.
• Lord, I come against the spirit of laziness that the enemy might be using against me to keep me to a spot in the realm of the spirit. I ask that your holy spirit will come upon me and quicken my mortal body. For it has been written you shall receive power when the holy ghost has come upon you. Father I receive power to shun spiritual laziness in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Father Lord, every agent of darkness that is working against my spiritual growth, I come against them today by your power in the name of Jesus Christ. Every sin and iniquity in my life that is working against my spiritual growth, I ask that you forgive me in the name of Jesus Christ. The scripture says if any man be in Christ old things are passed away. I pray by the authority of heaven, everything of the past that is hindering the free flow of the spirit of God in my life, Lord take it away today in the name of Jesus Christ.
• I pray that the spirit of God that gives man a better understanding of the Father dwells in me from today. I pray that the light of God and the spirit of wisdom come mightily upon me. I ask that by your grace, holy fire will continue to burn upon my altar and the spirit of God will take over my being in the name of Jesus Christ.
