Prayers Against Laziness and Procrastination

Today we shall be engaging in prayers against laziness and procrastination. Laziness is one of the biggest hindrances to success. Oftentimes those who fail because they decided to rest don’t know how close they are to success when they let laziness defeat their zeal to keep up. While laziness may seem to be the greatest enemy to success and breakthrough, procrastination is another major reason why people fail.

When you may relent from pursuing goals due to tiredness, procrastination will cause you to stop exercising your energy doing somethings that are not profitable. Things that should not be prioritized, but you will always postpone doing profitable things that will benefit your life. Procrastination is a thief of time and success. When you are there procrastinating, some others are making serious decisions about their lives while you are procrastinating.

When you are at the edge of success, the enemy can endow you with the spirit of laziness, weariness, and tiredness. These spirits would hinder you from achieving that goal in life. Meanwhile, what we must know is that there are millions of destinies that are attached to our breakthrough.

If we fail to succeed in life, there several other people that will be hindered too. Just imagine the likes of Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola or Mike Adenuga were defeated by the spirit of laziness or procrastination, imagine the millions of people that would be out of jobs all around the world. That is why it is important that we fulfill purpose in life.

So the spirit of laziness and procrastination are dangerous to our overall growth in life. Even when it comes to the things that pertain to God, we might experience laziness or procrastinate. The time you are supposed to spend meditating on the word of God, the time you are supposed to invest in knowing God more, you will spend those time doing other unprofitable things. It is important that we free ourselves from such spirits. How to free ourselves from such spirits might not be an easy task to carry out. However, with consistent prayer, nothing is impossible to do.
