Bible Verses About Youth

We will be exploring some bible verses about youth. God takes pride in the youth; that is why many of the saints that God used to propagate the ministry started when they were youths. The likes of King David, Samuel, Jacob, and many more were youths when God began his covenanted work with them.

A quick trip into the new testaments, even Christ Jesus started and completed his mission o salvation and redemption while he was a youth. This explains that there is great strength in being a youth. Little wonder the Bible said, the glory of the youths is in their strength. The strength and agility of a youth can not be compared to that of an older adult. Even when God gave man a promise of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

The scripture made it known how the spirit will operate that the sons and daughters shall prophesy, and the older men shall dream dreams while the young men shall see a vision. The older men will only see things while they are resting during sleep hour, while young men, even while they are awake full of strength, will see a vision. God understands that the sight of a young man is better than that of the old, that is why the older men will only see things in their dream while a young man can see vision even while they are not sleeping.

This explains that the best time to work for God is during our youthful age. Even when it comes to accomplishing destiny on earth, the best time to work it out is during a young age when our strength is still waxing strong. The youth represents the sun, filled with strength and agility good enough to do any work, while the old age represents the night when everyone should be resting. Now let’s look at some bible verses about youth.
