Today we will be dealing with a prayer for help with bible verses. Help is something that every man needs to excel in life. God has created man and stationed him to always be of help for one another. However, many times, some people suffer because they could not get help. We have published a series of articles on help and prayer for help, but today we are being led by the spirit of the Lord to create different content on help. We will be dishing out a prayer for help with bible verses. You might be wondering why bible verses is essential in this context.

The scripture dictates the word of God to man, and the scripture makes us understand that God honors his words even more than his name. Little wonder the Bible stated it emphatically that even heaven and earth pass non of God’s word will go without fulfilling the purpose for which it has been sent. So, it is essential that while we pray for help in any circumstances that we find ourselves, we must also learn to use God’s word for him. It could be recalled that when the devil came to Christ to tempt him, Jesus did not just start praying, Christ used the word.

Therefore, we will not be making a mistake, If we say the word of God is like a bullet that makes our gun, which is prayer very dangerous to the enemy. When the devil comes raging at us, and we quote the scripture it has been written, the voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is filled with majesty, the voice of the divides the flame of fire, the voice of the is upon many waters. Even if this doesn’t automatically solve our problem, it gives us the courage to face the problem and conquer it. The word of the Lord assures us that God is still with us because He has promised us through his words.
In this article, we will be giving out some short prayers for help as led by the spirit of God with bible verses.

Prayer Points:

• The scripture has promised that the Lord is with and so I should not fear or be dismay because he is my God. I announce to you the devil that God is with, and I have overcome your fear and torment because God has promised to help me. I receive help from God, the maker of heaven and earth, therefore, the devil gets behind me before you face the wrath of God. I decree that devil goes out of my way in the name of Jesus.
  Isaiah 41:10 – Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
• Lord God, you have promised me in the book of Exodus that you will fight for me, and I should hold my peace until you are done with my enemies. Father Lord, I decree that you will help me in the name of Jesus. I stand on the covenant if your word that you will fight for me, I announce to the devil that light has come because the word of the Lord says I will be fighting for you, I decree victory over my problems in the name of Jesus.
  Exodus 14:14 – The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
• Lord Jesus, the scripture says I should trust in the Lord with all my heart, and he shall direct my ways. Lord Jesus, I have put my trust in you, let me not be put to shame. Let those that rise against me be destroyed by fire. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will help and deliver me from my adversaries. Let them not have dominion over, let not my enemies triumph over me, arise Lord Jesus, and grant me victory because I put my trust in you and my hope clings on the cross at Calvary, deliver me, Lord Jesus.
  Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
• Father Lord, the scripture says for we have not high priest that can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Lord Jesus, I need your help our sin, grant me your wisdom to defeat sin and iniquity in the name of Jesus. I come into the throne of grace that I may obtain mercy. I pray that you will grant me victory over sin in the name of Jesus. I ask for the grace to be dead to sin and be alive to righteousness in the name of Jesus.
  Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
• The scripture says I will lift up my eyes unto the hills where my help will come from, my help will come from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Lord Jesus, the scripture made me understand that when I cry unto the Lord, He shall help me. I pray that you will help me out of my distress, you make way for me where there seems to be no way. I pray that you will send me comfort when I need it, you have told me in your word that in life we shall face tribulations, but we should be of good faith because we have conquered. I pray that you will help me overcome my trouble in the name of Jesus.
  Psalms 107:28-30 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
