Today we will be dealing with prayer points for exceeding mercy. There are so many verses in the scripture that talked about the mercy of God. The book of Romans 9:15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”. This portion of the Bible explains that the mercy of God is not for all and sundry that is why it is important to pray to God for His mercy over our lives.

Have you ever wondered why some people achieve great success in life even when they only invested little effort. Whereas, there are some other set of people that invested all their time, money and energy into something and they didn’t get half the result of those that only did little. That is the concept of mercy. The scripture says, it is not of he that willeth or runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. This means the effort of a man is not sufficient enough for the accomplishment of goals.

Another concept of mercy is that some people will do some grievous activities and their punishment will be minimal while other people will just do a a little and it will seem like the mercy of God has departed completely from them. Example in the scripture is the life of King Saul and King David. The mercy of the lord is upon the live of King David. King Saul did not do half of the atrocities that were perpetrated by King David, God still named King David a man after His heart. When the exceeding mercy of God is at work in the life of a man, things becomes easy.

Things That Would Happen When Exceeding Mercy is Working in the Life of a Man

Things Will Become Easy

The first sign you would see in the life of man that the grace of exceeding mercy is working is that everything will become easy for such a person. The scripture in the book of 1 Samuel 2:9 He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. A man shall not prevail or excel by strength but by the proportion of grace and mercy that works over his life.

When the mercy of God is upon a man, even when he venture into a business that he knows nothing about, he would still excel in it.

Protocols Will Be Broken

Have you gone to an interview for a job and a man that clearly has no qualifications is considered ahead of those that have all the requirements. There is something that is working in the life of such a person, it is called Mercy. When mercy speaks, protocols becomes obsolete. The natural standard or mode of operation of an organisation will fall face flat in presence of man that the mercy of God is speaking over his life.

Even the constitution of a nation will bow at the face of mercy in the life of man. The scripture made us understand that mercy prevail over judgement. Even when the person has been condemned for death, the mercy of God will speak over the life of such a man and constitution will not mean anymore.

People Blessess Such Person

Even you are a very tough person that hardly like people, when you meet a man that mercy is working in his life, you will naturally like the person and always want to bless the person with substance. The book of proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. This portion of the scripture further explains the concept of mercy. When the life of a man pleases God, He cause his enemy to be at peace with him.

A man that the grace of exceeding mercy is upon will have no enemy.

Prayer Points For Exceeding Mercy

• Lord Jesus, I thank you for your grace over my life. I thank you for the gift of life that you bestowed on me to see a new day that you have made. Lord, let your name be exalted in the name of Jesus.
• Lord Jesus, the scripture says I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on and compassion on whom I will have it on. I pray that among the people you will show mercy, lord count me worthy in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus, I pray against any form of sin in my life that will hinder your mercy over my life, Lord forgive me in the name of Jesus. The scripture says, we can not continue to be in sin and ask grace to abound. I pray that by the reason of the blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary, wash away my sins and iniquities in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord I decree by your power, any where I turn to now let your mercy speak for me in the name of Jesus. Over my career, I decree that your mercy begins to speak in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus, because of your steadfast love and unending loving kindness I pray that you will have mercy upon me in the name of Jesus. 
• I refuse to go without your mercy. Your mercy that replaces the judgement of man, lord let it speak over my life in the name of Jesus. 
• I decree by the mercy of the Most High, in all my endeavors, let your exceeding mercy speak for me in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord God, it was your mercy for mankind that brought Christ as a sacrificial lamb to die for the sin of man. I pray that the mercy of God will not come to a halt over my life in the name of Jesus. 
• I pray that by your mercy, I shall be established in the name of Jesus. Every thing that I have always admire, every good thing according to your will for my life is released to me today by your mercy. 
• Lord I pray that by your mercy over my life, sickness is taken away in the name of Jesus. I decree that death is wiped away in the name of Jesus. 
• Lord Jesus, I pray that every door of blessings that has been closed against me, u decree that the mercy of God Almighty open them today in the name of Jesus. 
• I pray for grace to accomplish good thing with ease, I pray that such grace begin to speak over my life in the name of Jesus.
