5 Prayer Points To Pray For Your Home

Today we will be dealing with prayer points to pray for your home. It is so important to commit our families to God. The one who is able to do all things well for us. Prayer is the Power house of a christian. As believers and indivudials established in families, we cannot afford to be unserious with our prayer lives, its our commitment to the Father.

We make things happen in the place of prayer, somethings remain the same because we don’t pray, we pray to see changes in some things also. Its our responsibility to live a prayerful life. Parents should pray together, children should be taught how to pray by praying with the family and by extension, individually.

In this section, we are praying for spiritual growth, protection, abundance, progress and peace.

PRAYER POINTS

• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, thank you for your mighty hand upon us, we are your people and you are our God, Father we are grateful, blessed be your name Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for your steadfast love and kindness over us, we glorify your Holy name, we exalt your majesty, thank you Blessed Redeemer in Jesus name.

PRAYER OF ABUNDANCE

• According to the Word of the Lord in Psa. 1:3, which says, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf shall not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.” In the name of Jesus, I pray for the abundance of God upon my home, my husband, my wife and my children, whatsoever we lay our hands upon; we shall prosper in the name of Jesus.
• According to Psa. 20:4 which says, “May He give you the desire of your heart and make your entire plan succeeds.” Father in the name of Jesus, I commit my home into your able hands, for every of our projects and plans, we pray for success, we pray that you grant my husband, my wife and my children the desires of our heart according to your will in the name of Jesus Christ.
• According to Phil. 4:19 which says, “ And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” Father in the name of Jesus Christ, every need in my home is met, we have all that we need to eat, to drink and to give in the name of Jesus.
• According to Psa. 23:1 says, ‘The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.’ Heavenly Father, you are the Shepherd in my home, we rest on you, we hope and trust in you that you shall be our supplier, whenever needs arise in my home, you will make them available for us in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER OF PROTECTION

• According to 2 Tim. 1:7 which says ‘For God hath not given us the Spirit of Fear; but of Power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’ Father in the name of Jesus, I curse the spirit of fear in my home from the root, I decree your mighty hand of love shall rest upon my home and we are endured with the Spirit of sound mind and love from above in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Psa. 17:8 says, ‘Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings’ Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I commit my home into your hands Lord, I pray that you keep my wife, my husband, my children safe all day, all night, we pray that you keep us under the shadow of your wings in the name of Jesus Chrsit.
• Psa. 23:4 says, ‘Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.’ Father in the name of Jesus, no matter what is going on in my environment, even when there is evil in the land, evil shall not come near me in the name of Jesus, we will fear no evil for you are our Rod and Staff, in the mighty name of Jesus.
• From Psa. 91: 1-7 Father in the name of Jesus, my wife dwells in your secret place, my husbands dwells in your secret place my children rest in your secret place, my home is protected from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence, my home is protected from all forms of evil, all forms of harm, all forms of accidents because we dwell in safety by you day in, day out in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER OF PEACE

• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree the Peace of God in my home on every side in the name of Jesus. My marriage experiences your peace in the name of Jesus Christ, the devil will have no place in my home in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Isa. 26:3 says, “ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
• Heavenly Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will keep my home in perfect peace as we trust in you in the name of Jesus Christ. Peace on every side, in the life of my husband, my wife, my children and to an extension, my relatives in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Col. 3: 15 says ‘And let the Peace of God rule in your earts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful’
• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, the Peace and serenity from above will rule in my home by your power in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

• Eph. 1:18 says, ‘The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of  his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints’.
• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, the eyes of our spirit man is continually flooded with light, we know what is ours in Christ, we are not tossed to and fro, we know what our inheritance is in Christ daily in Jesus name. 
• Psa. 69:9 which says, ‘For the zeal of thy house has eaten me up, and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me’ Father in the name of Jesus Christ, let the zeal of your kingdown fall upon my home heavily and make us tools for the expansion of your kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER OF PROGRESS

• Father in the name of Jesus, I decree progress in my business, promotion for my wife/husband and progress in the lives of my children in the name of Jesus.
• In my home, I come against every form of stagnation that might want to hold me down, my spouse and children, we are free from stagnation in the name of Jesus Christ.
• Heavenly Father I pray for all round favour in my home, for our business, career, favour in all of our endeavours, men see us and favour us, my children are favoured in Jesus Mighty name.
• Heavenly thank you because you always hear us, thank you for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
