Prayer Points Against Tribal Conflicts In Nigeria

Today, we will be dealing with prayer points against tribal conflicts in Nigeria. In this critical time, we have seen so many tribal conflict break out in Nigeria. More than anything, tribalism is one of the biggest problems of Nigerians. The South feels the problem of the country is from the North, the Northerns feel the South is the genesis of the country’s problem. It is evidently displayed that various tribes in Nigeria can’t stand one another.

The cord of unity in this country has been broken and many are already calling for separation. Their inability to get separated has further led to tribal conflict and war in the country, this has left many lives dead and properties destroyed. The book of Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? It is impossible for two to work together unless they agree. Because the enemy has successfully created a form of disunity among tribes in Nigeria, it has become impossible to ceasefire. More than ever, we will be praying to God restore unity to Nigeria. Also, out prayers will center around love.

When there is love among the tribes in Nigeria, there won’t be blood shed, tribal injustice will end. I decree by the authority of heaven, the affected unity in Nigeria will be restored in Jesus name.

Prayer Points:

Prayer For Love Among Tribes

• Lord Jesus, you are the agent of love. The one who taught us how to love. We ask that by your mercy, you will create the spirit of love in the mind of men of each tribes in Nigeria. We ask that you will give us the grace to love ourselves like you loved the church. We understand that when there is love, there will be little or no conflict, Lord Jesus, teach men to love themselves like you loved the church.

• The scripture says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, teach us to fear you in Jesus name. Create in us a new heart, the heart that will believe more in Nationality rather than ethnicity. Help us to desist anger, teach us to embrace negotiation in Jesus name.

Prayer For Unity Among Tribes

• Father Lord, we pray that you will endow us with the spirit of unity. The scripture says can two work together unless they agree? Father Lord, we ask that you restore the unity that the enemy has taken away from our midst. We pray that you will teach us how to tolerate and understand one another.

• We understand that we have different language and culture, however, love is above everything. We pray Lord Jesus that you will teach us how to love ourselves dearly. We come against every spirit of intolerant in our midst, we come against every spirit of misunderstanding in our midst, we destroy it by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

• Lord Jesus, we ask that you will let each tribe see a reason for one Nigeria. Teach us that we may know that the amalgamation that brought us all together was orchestrated by you. Teach us to embrace one Nigeria, teach us to embrace peace instead of war, teach us to embrace dialogue instead of bloodshed, in Jesus name.

Prayer Against Bloodshed Among Tribe

• Father Lord, we come against every bloodsucking demon that has possessed men from each tribe of Nigeria. We arrest every demon that has engulfed the heart of men causing them to be violent. We pray that Bloodshed will cease among tribes in Jesus name.

• Lord Jesus, we pray that there shall be no more killings in the name of Jesus. Lord, from the North, to the South, to the East and West, we ask that there shall be no more killing in the name of Jesus. We pray by the authority of heaven that you will create a new heart in the mind of every man in Jesus name. A heart that fears you and obey your word, we ask that you will give it to us in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Points For Peace

• The scripture says my peace have I given unto you not as the world give it. We ask that you will allow your peace reign in Nigeria. Lord let peace reign among each tribes, let peace reign in the heart of men in Jesus name.

• We come against every spirit of violent in the heart of men, we rebuke it by the authority of heaven. We come against every spirit of war and bloodshed, let it lose its power in the name of Jesus. We cry unto you the prince of heaven, we ask that you let your peace reign in our country. Instead of war, teach us to see strength in our diversity, in Jesus name.

Prayer For Leaders of Each Tribes

• Lord Jesus, similarly, we remember all the decision leaders of each tribes in our prayer. We ask that you will teach them to teach peace and love among their followers. We come against every spirit of indictment in their hearts in the name of Jesus. We ask that you will teach them to love and embrace one Nigeria in the name of Jesus. 

• Lord, we ask that you will create the fear of the Lord in their heart. The fear of the Lord that will hinder them from promoting heresy among their people which can lead to tribal war, we ask that you will create your fear in their hearts in Jesus name. Lord, we come against every spirit of selfishness in their hearts, we rebuke such spirit in the name of Jesus. We put to bondage, every demon that reduces their level of tolerance for one another, we pray that you subdue such spirit with your power in Jesus name.

Prayer For The Growth And Development of Each Tribe

• Father Lord, we pray that you will cause each tribes to develop evenly in Jesus name. That there will no be any form of envy or jealousy among tribe, we pray for the growth and development of every tribe in Nigeria, we ask that you make it possible in Jesus name.
